it is very tasty and a good place to go for a filling meal

The menu stars which items are gluten free. There aren’t a ton of choices but I had a quinoa power bowl and it was really good. The waitress was great - asked me if my gluten free was choice or allergy - made sure to mark on the order slip so they could “change their gloves” etc. Not a lot of gluten free items but I felt really safe!

Probably not celiac friendly, cross contamination is likely as waiters don't seem to know what gluten is other that having Udi's bread. However, their website is extremely helpful. If you go to their nutrition information detailed allergy information and vegan info is available

Have eaten here for breakfast numerous times and not gotten sick, love the food. The staff have all been very accommodating of celiac.

Need to be in top of staff about GF. You need to tell them many times you need GF.

I thought it was a local place with a similar name. It’s some kind of chain - essentially, a Cracker Barrel at double the price. Food is OK, but it worth eating again, and not safe enough to really risk.

Eaten here many time and have never gotten sick. Menu states power bowls and salad dressings are all gluten free. Udi's bread is available so sandwiches and toast can be made GF.
Staff are accommodating dining-in. Another time I ordered the same dish I had previously & asked for no toast. I was disappointed the toast was right on top of the food.
The host told me they do not have a gluten free menu when requested then said, “we don’t really do that.” Our waitress told me she was unable to provide me any information. I requested she ask the chef and she came back out and said the chef recommended I order what I would guess to be gluten free. One of my worst eating out experiences.

The pancakes are gluten freeeee and made on a dedicated stove!! Great staff, knowledgeable and willing to change any order to accommodate.
To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.

My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

They are very considerate when I order gluten free bread for toast and inform them of my allergies. I'm sure other locations might be less kind but this one is great.
Cross contact is possible I'm sure, but I believe they car enough to make some effort

Decent brunch food. Whenever I mention gluten free they know what I'm talking about and seem to be careful. I feel a bit rushed though, they usually give us the check before we're halfway done with the food.
