Review of Five Guys

I have been to a few Five Guys locations over the years and I really enjoyed my experience at this particular location. There was a sign that said they could make the burger bunless and when I ordered it that way, the cashier asked me two questions:

1. Was this for a food allergy? 2. Would I like it in a bowl or in a lettuce wrap?

I opted for the lettuce wrap. Turns out this was one of the first locations to offer that option and it caught on, so many other locations now offer it as well.

The cashier informed them that it was for an allergy and they announced it on the line at least three times as they were preparing my food. It was a little too crowded for me to watch the actual prep, but I could clearly hear them announce that there was an allergy prep on the table.

After the rush was over, the manager even came out to my table while I was eating to see how everything was and make sure I was happy with my order. He was glad to hear that I was happy and invited comments about how they could improve their service. Since I don't feel the need to have a gf bun when there are viable alternatives, especially with less carbs, I was not inclined to suggest it.

Please note that people with peanut allergies cannot even step foot in the building, but other allergies, you should probably be okay.
