I didn’t find it celiac friendly. They said they could protect my burger and the lettuce sat directly on a bun that was next to it. I didn’t dare eat it.

I go here all the time. They ask if you have an allergy when you order a lettuce wrapped burger. They cook only fries in their fryer! Disclaimer: don’t go there if you have a peanut allergy though! If you watch, they grill the buns on a separate grill top. Sooooo good! Only problem I’ve had there was eating too many fries!

No GF buns— lettuce wrap. GF fryer for fries. When I asked for a lettuce wrap, the person taking my order immediately asked if it was an allergy and I said yes. He entered “change gloves” into the computer along with the order, and also verbally told the kitchen staff that a glove change order was coming. Then they delivered my burger in a separate bag from the others in my order who used buns. A good GF experience! The only hitch is there are peanuts everywhere on the tables and floors in that restaurant, as that is part of their gimmick. A bummer for GF people who are also allergic to peanuts!

They were great! When I said I had a gluten allergy, the guy who was taking my order immediately told everyone they needed to switch out their gloves before making my order, and to just be aware of the allergy. Their fries are safe- they are the only thing they fry in their peanut oil. They don’t have a gluten free bun, but you can have your burger in a lettuce wrap or just in a bowl. I will be back :)

The staff said they routinely get customers with celiac disease and they know what to do regarding changing gloves, etc. The burgers can be served without a bun in a bowl or lettuce wrap and the fries are safe because they don’t cook anything but fries in the fryer. We ate there twice during our week in Pigeon Forge and had no problems.

They did an excellent job of preparing our burger separately from the other items. The bunless burger came out in a tin container in a separate bag. The only thing is I forgot to ask for the french fries to be placed in a separate bag. The fries came out in the same bag as my sons' gluten burgers. I'll remember to ask for the fries in a separate bag next time.

Fries and good and safe to eat. They will change gloves and someone will make yours separate from other burgers if you ask. You can get burger as lettuce wrap. I just have them make burger without bun and I bring in my own GF bun and assemble my own.

I had never gone to 5 guys before I was diagnosed and boi was I missing out. I love their burgers and fries. They have two options for GF burgers- either a bowl or a lettuce wrap. Their kitchen is out in the open so you can see everything that they do, I was there with someone not GF who got grilled cheese and they literally put it on foil, on a different grill than my burger. They take allergies really seriously and even told me that they assume all online orders need allergy precautions (though I have yet to try that myself). They don’t leave room for error, an employee in training didn’t change gloves and put my lettuce wrap near a bun and the manager training him was immediately there, threw it away, changed gloves, and got a new one all while explaining why it was wrong. I have never once felt unsafe eating here and have honestly become a regular. I’m celiac and I have never gotten sick from their food. But heads up because everything is done in peanut oil and they have peanuts everywhere.

Burgers can be ordered in a bowl, since the can be quite messy without a bun. Most staff are knowledgeable about gluten sensitivities and will take all necessary precautions to avoid cross-contamination. Fries are cooked in dedicated fryers and oil.

Our go-to fast food burger place. When you ask for no bun, they ask if it's an allergy, then treat your meal carefully. Unfortunately, they don't have gluten free buns, so you have to eat with a fork, or take it home and put on a bun. (I guess you could also bring one.) Delicious fries too.

My favorite burger joint. All of the burger patties and buns are gluten free. There is something about the juiciness of the meat mixed with the melted cheddar and crispy lettuce and a hint of tomato with the right amount of condiments. I have yet to have a better GF burger. The fries are too greasy and salty but they do taste pretty darn good. Since going vegetarian, I’ve missed this spot.

This Five Guys is a good once or twice a month treat for my family. We bring our own GF buns and ask for the burger in a bowl, letting them know it is for an allergy (GF and Milk allergies). The fries are the only item cooked in the fryer, so no problems there. I've never had a reaction to eating anything from any Five Guys. I just wished they would have some GF buns to go along with their burgers.

Tell them 'gluten allergy' when ordering. They can make a burger lettuce wrapped or in a bowl. Gluten free burgers, gluten free hotdogs (without the bun), gluten free fries. I've never tried any of the shakes so I'm not sure if they clean the machine to lower CC risks.

I announced before I ordered that I have Celiacs. I noticed the sensitivity appeared on our receipt and the staff preparing the food were discussing which orders needed to be GF. I ordered "little" fries and a "little hamburger" in a "bowl," which is a foil aluminum pan. The burger was little and thin and had the crust on the edges of well done beef. I like the crust. It means the burger was fresh. I rarely have fries any more because of the risk for cross- contamination. These were fried in a fryer that only cooks fresh made French fries. There were enough fries in the order for 2. What a treat! I'm very sensitive to gluten and was able to eat there without risk.

The guys at the register are very good and accommodating. The cook top for meat is desperate from the bun space. They also wiped down the prep station and used fresh veggies. The online menu tells you what is available gluten free. Lots of milkshake options too. This is a new favorite of ours.

I have celiac disease and where we live there are no safe places to eat, but every time we come to Lawton I eat here. It is my favorite place to eat because not only is the food fresh, safe and yummy I can have their fries. I get my burger as a burger bowl as I’m not big on the whole lettuce thing. I have eaten here 4 Times now, different workers different times of day and have not gotten sick at all. Highly recommend this place. I love 5 Guys!!!!
