Five guys is always awesome.
their fries are GF according to this document. us_ingredient_allergenguide_2014-1.pdf
I told them I had a gluten allergy and ordered the bunn less burger. I asked if the fries were gluten free and was told yes. They triggered a migraine which I always get when I come in contact with gluten and digestive issues. My boyfriend checked out another website and it stated their fries contain gluten. I specifically asked the customer service rep and stated Id get sick. I certainly wont go back.
No
When you ask for yoyr burger bunless, they put your burger in a lettuce bowl so the cheese and other toppings does not stick to the foil. They are very understanding and accommodating.
They always put the cheese on meat, then add lettuce, tomato, & onion. That way most of the cheese isn't stuck to the foil. They will even bring your order to your table. Run much better than store near Tiffany Springs. Great food & competent, efficient, friendly, helpful staff!
Got a lettuce wrap burger and fries, both were delicious and had no gluten symptoms! 10/10

I visited based on reviews and I was really craving fries. When I got to the counter, I mentioned that I had a gluten allergy and the person helping me didn’t respond like she knew what I meant. Then I asked what precautions they took for food prep and she said the employees change their gloves but that was about it. I could see that each burger was on its own foil but then I watched someone smear mayonnaise on a bun then put the utensil back in the Mayo tub. I asked about the fries, if the fryer was dedicated. She looked at me like I had lost my marbles. I explained cross contamination and she finally said that nothing else is fried in the fryer. So I ordered fries, no burger. But then saw that employees were handling the fries with their (gloved) hands. I flagged someone down and asked if they changed gloves to handle allergy foods. She assured me that the fry person was the only one that touched the fries and they didn’t handle the other food but quickly said she would change her gloves and get my fries. She said food allergies are very important to them and they take it seriously. All that to say, I think it matters who takes your order but I’m not sure I would jump at the chance to eat here again, for a burger at least. Fries were delicious.

Nice and helpful staff who are always professional. Clean facility. Standard Five Guys wait times and food, which I guess is the highest compliment one can give a fast casual chain. Haven’t gotten sick from any Five Guys location ever.

My husband told the person at the register we had a gluten allergy on two of the burgers we ordered. They always put them in a separate bag. When my husband got home all the burgers were in one bag and mine had cheese even after my husband said no dairy. I called the manager Avery and he said “sorry, we are so busy “ He offered to remake it, but living 20 minutes away, we just threw it in the trash. So disappointed. The places I xan safely eat at are becoming less and less. Not sure why management doesn’t take an extra 10 minutes to train employees. Grrrrr.
