I have never had an issue with a 5 Guys until today. Thankfully I caught it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger bowl. They put my fries in with my son’s meal and the mayo had bread crumbs in it. I told them I had celiacs and they put those notes in. I know it’s a chain and a toss up. But be careful with eating here.
**1/28/25- The district manager called and profusely apologized for the incident and has vowed to make it right. He will be speaking to his staff and fixing any of these issues and takes allegro seriously.
Staff at this location is well trained on "allergy prep" procedures. Had a great experience thanks to their precautions. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger and they changed gloves, cleaned the prep area, and put my burger in a separate bag from the rest of the party's. And of course, the safe bag o' fries was the cherry on top! I won't hesitate to go back.
They have options for lettuce wraps or a bowl. They marked my daughter's order for an allergy and staff changed gloves before they made her order. They bagged her order and All the fries separately so they wouldn't touch our other hamburgers in our order. The head manager made sure when hers was ordered that only one employee with clean gloves touched her order and had her bag it. I was very impressed. We will be going back!

I get my hamburger in a bowel so if I bring my own roll I can add it. The French fries are in a dedicated frier. They always say it’s an allergy which I don’t mind. Sometimes people understand that better than saying celiac.
I order from this location weekly and the staff have always been great about customizing our burgers to keep me from getting “glutened”. They are one of the few places I can get “safe” fries. My usual order is a burger bowl with a ton of toppings and a small order of Cajun fries. They are my go-to in Westchester Commons for an allergy aware, quick dinner.
I love this place. Super good burger with a lettuce wrap and fries made in a dedicated fryer. These are some of the best fries I’ve ever had. I have never ordered a milkshake due to concerns of cross-contamination.
I eat here about once a month and feel fine afterwards. I always call them after placing my order to let them know I have an allergy and I’ve watched them change their gloves before preparing my food.
What’s happened to Five Guys allergen protocols? This location had always been great but just witnessed a person making burgers touch the fries. No bueno.
