Review of Five Horses Tavern

Their menu items say GF on some or can be made GF on others. Servers have no idea what Celiac is- they insisted that MA standard is that they can use the same fryer because it kills the gluten. #1, you can't "kill" gluten, it's not alive. #2, unless they crank the fryer up to 600 degrees for 1/2hr (they don't/can't), it doesn't dissolve. They are NOT celiac friendly. If you must eat there, get the steak taco without the avocado sauce (eat at own risk), or the mezze plate (hummus) with veggies instead of pita. ::sigh:: when will all restaurants be educated on this disease!???!?
