Review of Flour & Barley

Had a bit of an interesting experience here. The pizza was great (got the hawaiian pizza) and also had a greek salad that was very good! Our server was very nice and informed. He offered us 2 dessert options that were not on the menu, one being a hazelnut flour cake with chocolate and vanilla mousse. He said they were gluten free so I opted for that one. It came out not quite looking as I expected and since it was not on the menu, I decided to test it with my Nima sensor. It came back as containing gluten and the line on the tester was faint (so more likely cross contamination and not full gluten). I ended up not eating it and they didn’t charge us for it. I asked the waiter about it and he swore it was gluten free and they have never had issues but made me wary.
