Review of Franco Manca

I tried to order a gluten free pizza but they informed me that they would not be confident in serving it to me as I am a coeliac and they told me cross contamination was highly likely.

After speaking with the manager, she informed me that my only options were the salads. My colleague then asked if I could have any of the starters, to which she said yes, and gave me the allergen book.

I saw a couple of starter that were gluten free, one of which had bread on the side, which I asked for it to be left out.

Once ordered, I watched the waiter dump the bread off the plate before serving the dish to me. I explained this to the manager and asked for a new one, which they did provide.

Overall, the experience made me feel like a burden and the staff felt rather unwelcoming towards my requests.
