Franklin Avenue Mac House

Mac House is the best! They take celiac very seriously and offer delicious gluten free mac and cheese. Their gluten free noodles are a different shape (rotini) compared to their gluten-containing noodles (elbows), so you can tell if they mess up your order. I’ve never needed to use that trick here, but it’s good to know!

SO YUMMY. Ordering was easy, the waitress confirmed my allergies, and the Mac and cheese was aims of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 taste. I have celiac disease and felt totally normal afterwards!

They have separate noodles and bread for the gf. Each sandwich is wrapped in parchment paper and cooked on what looked to be a panini press. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Our only complaint was that the prices were high. Our lunch for 4 (2 kids) was $55.

This place is amazing!! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have a separate preparation area for gluten free! To top it all off the food is incredibly tasty!!! I got the Notorious P.I.G. and The Boss!

Delicious mac n cheese and did not get sick. Staff are super accommodating and understanding of allergy and prep in a separate area in the kitchen. Also got the sandwich with Gouda cheese. If you are dairy free they also use smoked Gouda by Follow Your Heart.

Very delicious! I got a combo with the Mr. T and the Boss. It is plenty of food with enough for leftovers and I did not get sick!

Staff understood gluten free and when did not know if bacon was gluten free the chef called the manager to double check and said that yes it is. Big portions. Got the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. Did not get sick

If you need gluten free and dairy free options, this place is awesome! The GF bread is amazing, and they offer a dairy free Gouda to go with it — outta this world! Oh, and to top it all off? Their customer service is phenomenal! Super friendly and helpful. When I explained my allergy, they took precautions to make the cooking surface safe. Can’t say enough good things about these guys!

Very knowledgeable staff and management. Tested as Gluten Free with my Nina sensor so Celiac Safe.When they prepare gluten-free items, they take precaution to prevent cross-contamination as much as possible. With that being said, they do prepare the gluten-free items in a kitchen where other gluten-full items are prepared.When they receive a gluten free (allergy) order, they prepare the items on separate cutting boards with clean utensils and change their gloves. Separate pans and utensils are used to cook the Mac ‘n cheese and when grilling the sandwiches on their press, they create a barrier covering the sandwich to keep it from contacting potential hazards.
