New location is in Stella's and they don't have the dedicated fryer up yet but hopefully soon. Still have Sweet Ally's buns! My old review:I'M SO FULL! I had a cheese burger w/GF bun, a chilli cheese dog w/GF bun and fries (and of course a diet Coke). I haven't been able to eat like that in years. They are right next to Sweet Ali's. They carry Sweet Ali's buns which are awesome and they have a dedicated fryer for regular and sweet potato fries, and tater tots.

Dedicated gluten free fryer. Definitely worth the trip from my gluten free Chicago style hot dog.

Great GF roll and the staff are very friendly! The GF bakery next door is an added bonus.

Knowledgeable staff can guide you through which menu items can be made gluten free. And there are a lot of them. The GF buns are delicious, our daughter loved them. All my kids liked their food, which never happens.

Amazing cheese hot dogs and cheese fries. The fries are cooked in a separate fryer! It's so nice being able to eat a hot dog on a bun again. The buns were absolutely delicious and soft. Can't wait to visit again!

Hot dog on a GF bun! It was delicious. Bun is from Sweet Ali's Bakery - you can have your hot dog and then go next door to the bakery for dessert. A definite treat and so nice for kids to feel "normal".

Terrific place!! I loved having the Chicago style hot dog and pork smothered fries. Sooo good and, more importantly, it didn't make me sick! The staff was so friendly, super knowledgeable, and helpful.

Finally got a gluten free Chicago style dog and it was really good. Lots of other hot dog and burger options as well. not all toppings are gluten free so be sure to ask.

They now have CHICKEN STRIPS so I basically died and went to heaven. They’re super nice, so just ask them about anything! Can’t go wrong with a hog dog on a sweet ali bun, chicken strips and fries

They use Sweet Ali’s buns from right next door and are knowledgeable about cross contamination. Sweet potato fries, tator tots or regular fries. Such a great safe option to have nearby.

I'm not from Chicago or familiar with the "typical Chicago" dogs and burgers that I've heard about on the Food Network, but since Franks is next to Sweet Ali's (all GF bakery), I decided to give it a try. Franks uses Sweet Ali's buns. They have a huge menu for dogs, burgers not as much. But letting them know you need GF and they will take care of you. The burgers are fat and juicy and work well with the bun. They have a single, double, and triple, all quarter pounders, but they are fat, not thin, so having a double means you need to disconnect your jaws to take a bite. Their dogs are great and have that snap when you take a bite. Things get a bit messy when you have a lot of stuff on the dog, but it will be worth it, especially on those great buns from next door. They have a dedicated fryer for fries that are hand cut. The owners are really nice people and do a great job in serving their customers. I've enjoyed Franks three times and will probably make it a fourth time before heading back home. If you are in the area, go to Franks. And take time to drive through Hinsdale. It's a cute little village with some really classy homes!

Wow! What a great meal. My sister and I enjoyed a delicious cheese burger and fries with the most heavenly Gf bun from Ali's bakery next door! The food was fresh, safely handled, and the woman who took our order was both patient and knowledgeable! I have Celiac's and I didn't have one tummy problem after the meal either....except I was so full!!

Amazing service and great food. The owners were very helpful and friendly. So happy we tried Franks, we will definitly be back!

They messed up our order for a bacon blue cheese dog, and gave us gf fries, which is when we found out they have a dedicated fryer for fries!!! So tasty! Will be back
