On our visit last night, we had the gf mussels, gf bread sticks, and a gf margarita pizza. All were delicious. The gf menu is fairly large including apps, salads, pizzas, entrees, and deserts. They even have gf tiramisu! I have celiac and did not get sick. Definitely on our new lake list of go to’s.

Always go here with my Celiac order Gluten free pasta and sauce. Gluten free made with separate kitchen equipment. Always brought to the table separately and kept isolated in kitchen. An excellent choice for Celiacs.

I used to eat here all the time prior to Covid. I was told 5 months ago “well there is wheat flour all over the kitchen now.” I haven’t taken the chance. Too bad because they were my go to in town.☹

Been to Fratello's many times. Always a pleasure there. Food is amazing. They have a Great Gluten Free menu with desserts even. Just have to ask for it. Try the Gluten Free Italian Pie... It's to die for.

Very confused- reviews of this location are amazing yet I didn’t feel safe eating here. Do not order a salad! The worst of my experience was after informing the staff I have a gluten and dairy allergy and cannot have cross contact, I received a salad with bits of cheese not once, but three times! Once is a mistake, 3 times is just not okay. The manager informed me that she “was not surprised to hear of the bits of cheese since the prep station for salads are all together and the girls are making it all at once.” If she was not surprised why didn’t she notify me ahead of time when I specifically said I couldn’t have cross contact!? Was super nervous to continue the meal, but for my family’s sake I took their word that the kitchen is different than the salad prep. Got chicken with broccoli and penne with olive oil, it was just okay but thankfully I didn’t get sick. Wouldn’t rush back

Angels Sang As a celiac, eating out is a ......drag. The most I can hope for at most restaurants is a salad snd some shrimp cocktail. Last night changed the game. Not only is the property elegant but the service was top notch. Diners can eat in the well appointed lounge or wait for a table. Downstairs ,a classic pianist plays dinner music. But all that pales in comparison to ....A FULL GLUTEN FREE MENU. Each signature dish was recreated with zero gluten. Cheesy bread sticks, pasta fra Diablo, Woodfired pizza.....the list goes on and on. As if all that wasn’t enough, there was one more surprise. A gluten free chocolate mousse encased in chocolate ganache. Thank you, chef, for the best dining experience I’ve had in forever.
I want to start off by saying the pizza is phenomenal. I had no problem with the pizza. The atmosphere was fantastic as well. Never had any problems with cross contamination or the gf breadsticks. My issue was with the pasta. I got the creamy broccoli chicken Alfredo and it had a really off-putting taste to it. I was really disappointed because I love pasta with some good sauce. It tasted so odd to me, as if it had been preserved or coated with a plastic tinge or had a plastic burn to it. The chicken was in whole pieces at the bottom of the dish, rather than being cut up and mixed with the pasta and broccoli. May try coming here again with friends who aren’t as big foodies as me because I’m sure the non gf stuff is good too.
Two girls with celiac. Four times we have eaten here( they love the piano and gluten free bread sticks). Each time they pick something new and enjoy the not getting sick after. Fratello’s is worth the one hour drive for us.
Yes
Very good food and service. I had the breadsticks which is Against the Grain pizza crust sliced long and the fire roasted veggie pasta.
Yes
Menu item stated gluten free but tested positive with Nima tester. Item was replaced for free but haddock was really watery and bland. Family had no complaints with their dishes.
Eat here, and got a pasta dish, was sick for a week after. Ordered the same thing in Manchester location a week before and no issues
No
They had a separate gf menu which was nice... but the food was super bad. One of the dishes we ordered had raw chicken in it. They also offer more gf breadsticks, which is actually an extra $5- and it's literally plain pizza crust.
Dedicated gf menu. The pizza / bread dough was amazing!! It had almost a puff pastry consistency to it. The bread sticks were to die for!!! Atmosphere was nice with someone playing the piano on the grand piano. I'd go back to Laconia just for the food =)
Yes
Very knowledgeable, excellent meal.

Great service and great food! they use similar gf bread/crust like "against the grain" which i LOVE. the atmosphere was nice as there was someone playing the piano on the main floor. the mussels were delicious!
The server was amazing and very educated! Large menu selection and all very delicious
Yes
Service was slow and waitress brought me a gluten pasta dish - I only questioned because I thought I remembers the menu said penne not linguini. Pasta needed seasoning once I got the right dish. The gf flatbread was decent but I had to ask for separate butter/spreads.
Service was a little slow, but they had a gluten free menu with a much larger selection than most. The food tasted fantastic.

I am a celiac with other allergies and they have always gone above and beyond to accommodate me. Delicious! Last visit I brought my own pasta as I can't have theirs and had a fantastic seafood meal! My visitors love it too!

Amazing service and great gluten free menu! Definitely taking my family back again and again!

Separate, fairly extensive gluten-free menu. Pretty good food.

The gf options are great here! There's tons! I hadn't had chicken broccoli Alfredo since I went gluten free 2 years ago. It was delicious! The flatbread ap was great! The decor is interesting but I realized it was an old bank when I saw the vault with a table inside. Wish I had room for dessert!
Amazzzzzing gluten free carrot cake! Pizza is awesome! Yum!
Yes
Not the BEST pasta, but certainly alright. There was way too much marinara sauce on my pasta, and it wasn't the type of pasta that would absorb sauce well. It was dissapointing when they brought out exquisite fresh bread for everyone else who wasn't eating gf (I was the only one in my party) and they had nothing to accomodate. I also didn't understand why a regular pasta dish with sauce was $11, but alfredo and broccoli was $20 (really? double the price?). They did have many menu options though, so that was a very nice plus. They also serve gf mixed drinks and have a lowered price happy hour.
Great god menu. Pasta was very good
My wife and I eat here frequently. I have Celiac and have found that Fratello's pasta is among the best. I loved the seafood alfredo before my diagnosis and even though it's not on the gf menu, they always take the time to make it when I stop in.
Yes
Staff knowledgable and everyone very nice but my wife got really sick after eating here. The food was delicious so we think they served her regular pasta instead of GF!
Haven't been back again yet but I think we will try it again.
Great Italian food that can be ordered gluten free. They have more gf pasta options than I have see at any other place. I ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo. I definitely would like to go back and try their gf lasagna and brick oven pizza.
For those who are dining with non-gf people, my boyfriend said his food was tasty as wll and they have large portions.
Delicious GF pasta and they went out of their way to make me a dairy free seafood sauce to go with it!
The manager Matt was very helpful; staff were knowledgeable
They have a separate gluten free menu with a good amount of options, however dairy free options are pretty limited. Luckily for me I only have to worry about gluten because I had the Italian pie which was amazing. They had 2 good options for dessert but I was too full.

Great experience. Large GF Italian menu. Ordered carpaccio and breadsticks for apps. Gf pizza, chicken broccoli alfredo, and chicken parm, then GF tiramisu and a chocolate bomb for dessert. Not celiac but highly sensitive to CC and didn't get sick. All 5 of my family members are GF. We loved it. Great service too.
