The baked beans were amazing and the fries were great! I ordered plain grilled chicken and they brought a seasoned one and when I asked if it was gluten free they said no. Had to wait on the plain one and it wasn’t that good.

Wow!!! Amazing BBQ!! Forget about Big Bob Gibsons! This is 30x better than BBG! I had the pork bbq potato. I ate it do two meals because it was so big and never had a reaction. I loved their white and red sauce. The added salt on the outside of the potato brought the taste to the next level. I will definitely go here again!!

Great BBQ! I got the Turkey and it was fantastic. They have a list of all GF items and took care to be sure I didn’t have any gluten items near my food. Highly recommend!

Went to this takeout place near closing which may explain our experience. Lots of people there understand Celiac and the restaurant clearly makes an effort to make GF food available without cross-contamination. The southern BBQ was amazing - we ordered pulled pork, smoked pork, fried catfish, Cole slaw and beans. My husband and I - usually good sharers- were both plotting how to get more of the catfish and the meats were to die for- huge portions, delicious!!! Cole slaw is the vinegar type (not mayo) and the beans were awesome.. All are designated GF (all their BBQ meats and the fried catfish are always GF) and I did not get sick. The one slip up was with the folks packing our to-go order. When we opened the containers, even though everything was marked GF, they had put cornbread into one container and a packet of crackers into our bag. The crackers had not touched anything else and the cornbread was separated by paper so it did not touch the meat and there was no contamination, but those oversights were very surprising given the excellent GF/Celiac focus from the rest of the staff. I would still recommend for southern BBQ - I think this was an end of the day slip up - but if you get spooked by that sort of slip up, you may want to consider avoiding the end of evening rush at this place.

Staff was so accommodating. When we asked for the gluten free menu they automatically informed us that their BBQ sauce was gluten free and that they would flag our meal for the kitchen staff to change their gloves and prepare our food separately. It was a wonderful meal. Highly recommend!

The food was great! Staff not totally sure of what was gf at first, but they did confirm everything with the kitchen. Had the pork bbq plate with fries. No reaction - would recommend.
Wonderful place to eat. I was traveling from Michigan to Panama City beach, FL and used the find me GF app to find a place to eat along my route. I tried because of the reviews. Delicious food and safe to eat. I went and thanked the manager afterward for having and she shared that she has grandchild with Celiac disease so she is very familiar with how to properly prepare food. Will definitely come back if we are passing through in the future.

Best BBQ I've had in years. So happy to find a BBQ place where I can eat the BBQ and the fries! Manager is well-versed in celiac and was super helpful and friendly. She quickly informed me of all the items that were safe for me to eat. For a fast casual dining restaurant, it was a surprise to find someone so knowledgeable. Not sure all locations are this well educated on GF so I will make it a point to return to this location next time I'm in the Birmingham area.

I was surprised! Very good for quick service food! Fries are in a dedicated dryer hot and crispy all meats are gf and some sides beans corn coleslaw. We were just traveling thru would go back if I lived
Excellent staff. And wonderful food. I will definitely be back.
The manager is gluten free. They were knowledgable and happy to make my son and I a safe meal. Very good food!! We had ribs, beans, chips (for me) and fries for my son.
Baby Back Ribs with French fries and baked beans! It was a nice surprise to find a safe place to eat when traveling. They were knowledgeable about gluten free.

I usually have good luck here. I make sure to tell them no bread because I have a gluten allergy. The bbq meat and sauce is gluten free and they do have some sides that are gluten free. Ask to make certain

I eat here all the time. The manager, Jamie, makes sure my food is not cross contaminated and he has the staff change their gloves. He informed my husband and I iwhat food is GF and how the food is prepared. He came from a big chain that trained him in celiac knowledge and food preparation.

We’ve been here twice since my daughter’s diagnosis and both times they have taken my requests for safety precautions very seriously. Nothing is marked but the lady taking order was knowledgeable about what ingredients are in various items. Even though they don’t fully understand, they took our requests seriously. We love their BBQ and so am thankful we can continue to eat there!!!!

No GF menu. Employees and manager did not know what, if anything, was GF. Could not tell me how anything was prepared. Manager left "to ask someone" and came back and said their pork was all I could eat. We left.
