I ate lunch here and so far (four hours later) feel totally fine. The kiosk ordering system made me a little nervous because there is nowhere to indicate any food allergy. So instead of paying at the kiosk I elected to pay the cashier, which allowed me to confirm with a person that my food would be subject to their allergen protocols. I got a no-frills grilled cheese with cheddar on gf bread that was super tasty. I also got the tomato soup side which was good as well, though a little thin. The sandwich was marked GF. Given the limited options in the immediate area I think this is a good safe choice.

I had a great experience here! I ordered through their online ordering system a build your own gluten free grilled cheese. They were very fast with making it and the tray even had a gluten free sticker. I had no issues afterwards. I will be back!

The mac n cheese tasted delicious and I was really excited to try it! The ordering system made me a little nervous (online only) but watching the staff they took precautions and changed gloves to keep it safe. My concern though was watching them afterwards while we were eating I watched the staff member use a gloved hand to make a toasted sandwich and then without changing went and refilled the stations with cheese, etc so definitely creating a cross contamination risk (unless it was gf bread)! The food was really nice but just given the nature of the operation and setup there’s definitely a cross contamination risk unfortunately!

Kids were excited to get a GF grilled cheese and with so many options. DF cheese is offered as well. Order is placed through the website and not by an attendant/server (I’m always nervous about that when ordering GF - but worked fine in this case). Staff was very pleasant. Place was a little dirty though.

It’s was really good. Great selection for gluten free. The bread tasted good and was a fine texture but it was on the verge of falling apart at any moment (like any mediocre gluten free bread). I went around 2 on a Saturday and I wouldn’t describe it as fast service but that’s to be expected. There is no seperate gluten free menu but as far as I could tell anything you could order could be made gluten free (I didn’t look at the desserts).

LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s soooo good and there are so many customizable options. They have little tablets that you order from and for every item you order it lets you put in an allergy. I would eat here every single day if I could 😂

Food is not marked as GF when it comes out. Nevertheless it was safe, delicious and plentiful!! I ordered a burger that came with Mac and Cheese but as I indicated I was celiac they removed them from the preparation as they are not GF. Very thoughtful!

We’re from out of state and struggled to find food teenagers would like. We had a party of 6 place a takeout order and 6 out of 6 loved their grilled cheeses. I wasn’t a fan of the tomato soup, to me it tasted like pizza sauce. I added creamed cheese to dr it up a little. I would 100% recommend this.

Wonderful, safe restaurant in DC! They told us everything but the side of mac & cheese could be made gluten free. Celiac safe. Asked all the questions, for all the good answers. Call if you’re concerned. This was the best grilled cheese and Mac and cheese I’ve ever had. The bread WAS THE SAME SIZE AS THE REGULAR BREAD. IT WAS AMAZING AND THE BEST SANDWICH EVER. the mac and cheese??? A huge bowl and all crispy and burned??? I felt so special and like a real human being eating out. This was honestly such a good experience. Also the pickle was like an entire cucumber?? Such a good surprise.

Busy place, yet they understood GF protocol needed for safety and the grilled cheese was very good. My to go container had a gf label on it. The tomato basil soup was delicious. I am typically a plain/healthy eater, and they put a lot of cheese on the grilled cheese, so I had to take some off:). But that’s just me. It was delicious and I felt safe eating it and did not get sick at all.

OH MY GOODNESS this was the best grilled cheese I’ve ever eaten. I did the “create your own” and made sure to select gf bread. We sat at the bar and I was able to see the staff making the sandwiches. I saw when our order came up and noted that the woman making mine changed her gloves before she started.

Only downside, which is kind of a good thing, is that gf takes a bit longer because they take time to make sure it’s safe. But still, so so soooo good.
