Review of Georgie's Diner

The young woman l who waited on me knew that they had gluten free bread and seemed like that was enough for her to convince me I could eat safely there. Well, ah, NO. She also said she runs the gluten free bread through the same toaster as all the other bread. She had to check with the kitchen to make sure the menu items I assumed were gluten free were actually gluten free. Maybe I got a new hire, but I am really glad I didn't have to rely on this employee to feed me safely. Oh, and the dish I ordered was meh. Can't remember the name but it was chunks of chewy chicken, mushrooms and overcooked broccoli served over rice with a barely tasted lemon and white wine sauce. (I am at the point where meh food can earn 4 stars when I can eat safely)
