100% GF, vegan, healthy but very tasty & well-composed. We had potato soup, chili, and the jalapeño mac & cheese crunch wrap, all of which were savory, hearty dishes. The faux candy bars are excellent, especially the Butterfinger. The cheese cake is creamy and delicious with nice coconut richness. No refined sugar, so nothing is too sweet. But everything is tasty as well as healthy & clean. Service was very slow, but kind and reliable in the end. Just budget extra time to eat here and enjoy the vibe. This would be my regular joint if I lived here.

I was happy to try this place. It’s called a cafe so I assumed it’s open for breakfast but they don’t open until 10:30. I waited 35 minutes for them to open only to discover that it’s a vegan place. 😖 I ordered food anyway since we waited so long but I was not a fan. It was expensive and the food was so-so.

Food was tasty. So nice to have so many options to choose from. Enjoyed the desserts too! Service was a bit slow but we also weren’t in a hurry - nice to chill for a bit.

Went out of our way to try this place since it’s gluten free, only to discover they cook everything in coconut oil. I’m allergic to coconut oil so I was unable to try anything. I wanted to post this for anyone else who’s allergic to coconut oil. They offered to make oil and vinegar for a salad dressing but I was afraid to try that. I just kept thinking if they cook everything in coconut oil, why would they have another kind of oil and then I was afraid to try it. Couldn’t keep the tears from falling, I was so disappointed and frustrated… dang celiac disease

I was really excited to try this out, and did a pickup order for work. Tried a few different things, the seafood gumbo, lentil dal, and mole tacos. Was unfortunately unimpressed, and the service was not great when picking my order up. Wish I could give a better review.

Visited at the beginning of April. Received a free healthy shot of juice. It was not bad. Everything on the menu was gluten free and some items were delicious. I tried my daughters meal however and it was tasteless. I loved the desserts.

Strange menu - they had trouble making Korean BBQ wrap so I ended up cancelling the order. Portions are small (quiche) and expensive.

BUT at least it is GF and vegan. So you can get a "safe meal".

Personally I think they need a little more experience and education on serving this type of food. Maybe visit Farmers Markets for ideas.

Delicious! Krunch wraps are yummy. The chocolate hazelnut pie is delicious. Also tried the coconut cream pie. It was good but not a lot of flavor, would be yummy with berries or a compute on top.

The food here is absolutely amazing! If you are really hungry I would recommend a wrap - delicious and a larger portion. But make sure you leave room for dessert as you can’t leave without trying the cheesecake.

This is my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. Everything is gluten-free, soy-free, Vegan and organic. I’ve never had a bad reaction after eating here and their food (and desserts) are amazing!! Great vibe too.

Best gluten free bread/buns, deserts, cookies... You name it, Giving Tree has it. There are lentil pancakes, buckwheat pancakes. If you'd like a quesadilla, they have gluten free lentil dough that is delicious. Everything on the menu is gluten free and vegan. One of the best restaurants in Phoenix 🥙🍜🥂

We Love the Giving Tree. This place is a true gem! We’ve tried so much of the yummy menu. Everything was good, fresh with great flavors. Definitely try the crunch wrap, I’ve been dreaming of it since tasting and am eagerly awaiting our next visit to Phoenix to have it again!

Everything is gluten free and vegan! I am corn free and there were definitely options for me. My sister and I shared the quiche which was pretty good. I also had the lentil pancake platter and it was delicious! If I'm back in the area I will definitely come again.

Super tasty! It has a completely gluten free kitchen, a bar with kombucha on tap, coffee bar, and friendly staff to top it all off. I carry an epipen for wheat, rye, oat, and barley allergies and didn’t get sick. Highly recommend if you’re in Phoenix!
