Possibly one of the best burgers/fries I've had since celiac diagnosis. They have more than burgers though. There's a whole gluten free menu (posted online as well). The server wrote gluten free really big on her pad of paper and seemed knowledgeable. The fries were in a gluten free fryer. (Still ask though if you go just in case! You never know if things change.) I was worried about getting sick seeing some of the other reviews, but I didn't.
There is a gluten free menu with a large number of GF options. I got a burger with sautéed onions and mushrooms with cheese. The GF bun was delicious, fries were great. Our waiter was extremely careful with the multiple food allergies of our family, wrote them down, and double checked with the kitchen. The food was amazing, and I had no trouble. I’m not celiac, so don’t know about the fryer. I’ll definitely be back.
Agree with previous poster. They stopped doing a GF menu and dedicated fryers.
Had a good time here, and my picky celiac kid was able to find food she enjoyed that she did not get sick from. Huzzah!
She got a hot dog without a bun (though they do have gluten free buns for hamburgers) and a fruit cup. She wasn’t sure about the fruit cup at first, but she ended up eating the whole thing. Haha!
Just driving through the area on our way to DC and had dinner here. My non-celiac husband and celiac I ordered two gluten free meals. I had the focaccia chicken sandwich on the gluten free bun and my husband had the smoky Memphis-style burger. Mine came out amazing but my husband said his tasted just like a regular burger without any hint of the flavor the burger was supposed to have. I didn't end up sick so I call it a mostly win.
FYI, the fries and fryer are not safe for Celiacs.
Found this gem near Charlestown WV while on vacation. They know all about gluten free!!
Great Restaurant! I had the GF Turkey Burger on a GF bun with GF sweet potato fries. all tasted fantastic. My GF meal came out with GF Label and the waitress made sure to state the "GF Turkey Burger" when handing out our meals. she also asked if I had a gluten allergy when I placed my order with a GF bun, they take extra precautions when you say you have a gluten allergy (the waitress noted gluten allergy on the order sheet). felt very safe eating here and will definitely dine here again.
Good training and awareness by all staff. Salmon very good, plus chocolate tort.
its a great sports bar. the wings with their signature sauce were tasty. I also had the tilapia with a side of fries. it was very good.
