Food here was fine- I was disappointed in the “brown and serve” style sausage, but I stayed away from the gf toast (shared toaster), gf waffles (shared waffle iron), and gf pancakes (shared griddle although they will wipe it down first). I have celiac and I had no gluten symptoms so my mean was safely made (I get some immediate symptoms).

Our friends recommended this place and it had good reviews so we stopped in. The waiter said the gluten-free options are pancakes, waffles, and French toast. They do have gluten-free bread. If you are dairy free, there aren’t a lot of options other than eggs. Unfortunately, my daughter got sick. Based on the reaction, I believe it was dairy not gluten accident The waiter said that the pancakes and the waffles were dairy free. I don’t think they are.

Amazing gluten free pancakes. Make sure to specify the need to prevent cross contamination. They do there best , changing gloves , fresh prep area … my daughter enjoyed feeling somewhat “normal” ..
No pain after

My girlfriend ordered gluten free pancakes and she was served regular pancakes. After the menu stated they have gluten free options and also confirming with the waitress, she was still served pancakes with gluten. Afterwards, she was severely ill for hours. Do not eat here please

Delicious! It’s a very popular place so be prepared to wait. It’s well worth every minute of the wait.

I asked my waitress about gf options and they had several types of gf breads, pancakes, and waffles. However, they did used the same toaster for all bread. I tried the gf pancakes and they were delicious!

The menu states that there are GF options. It also states not to eat there if you’re very allergic. The waitress was rude and condescending.

Unfortunately not everything gf is celiac safe. The food is cooked on a shared surface and the French toast is made in a shared toaster. The pancakes are your best bet for the gf substitutes. The owner however is extremely open and honest and is making a great effort. The omelets are cooked on a separate surface and we never had issues with them.

There aren't any gluten free options marked on the menu specifically but the waitress was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. She stated they have a light over the stove indicating that the order is gluten free so that stove is cleaned and only used for that order at the time. I had pancakes, poached eggs, tomato, and bacon and had no reaction and I am very sensitive to gluten. It was wonderful!

The service here was amazing. The hostess and our server were very well informed about celiac’s disease, their menu options, and about the food preparations. They have gluten free waffles and bread, but no equipment dedicated for gluten free prep. My son and I ordered the GF pancakes and the GF French toast, both which were cooked on thoroughly cleaned griddles. Our waitress,Beth, even contacted the company where they get their sausages from to see if all the ingredients were GF! (Unfortunately they were not, but the bacon was.) Everything was delicious as well. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The waitress was nice enough to tell me when we got here that NOTHING is truly gluten free and she said it would very likely be cross contaminated because everything is cooked on the same grill. We left and didn’t take any chances.

Best breakfast we’ve had while in Myrtle Beach. Pancakes were delicious, didn’t need to use syrup. Omelettes were packed with meats and veggies.

My family had GF pancakes, waffles and French toast - loved them all!

This was the First time our family could ever order GF pancakes, waffles, French toast and they were all very tasty. The red/white/blue waffle with strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream was awesome. Eggs and bacon were also delish!! Easy in/out and reasonable priced. No big up charges for GF.
Yes
Separate egg grill but same grill and toaster for everything else. Not celiac friendly.
No
Went here for breakfast and ordered the Eastern Omelette. Wasn’t pleased with the fact that I didn’t know cheddar cheese came in every omelette unless otherwise noted. 🤮 The omelette were over stuffed and there was no egg to filling ratio. The home fries I asked for well done which weren’t. Won’t be coming back.
The food was excellent. I am celiac and had no issues. I had an omelette and gf pancakes. I was in heaven. The rest of my family said their food was great too. Highly recommend 😊

Had gf pancakes, waffles and frebd toast. I got pancakes and they were delicious. Son got waffles and cleaned his plate. Waitress recommended staying away from the regular toast as they don't have a separate toaster. Was crowded on a rainy Friday morning, but everyone we encountered working at this restaurant was super friendly. Would definitely go back.
Ordered a veggie omelette and potatoes with no seasoning. I was Leary of ordering pancakes or French toast because it’s all cooked in the same area as regular. There is no dedicated gf prep area. My items were delicious though.
Have GF mix but Cross contamination is a huge. Was told that directly by waitstaff. We just left. Didn't bother to get sick.

Sunday 9/4/16 and it was great! They seem to have all breakfast favorites covered: GF toast, pancakes, waffles, and French toast. All good and no one was sick afterward. Very successful experience. We will return.
They do have a separate area to prepare gluten free pancakes, French toast. Waffles and can do toast on grill. You have to tell them you are celiac and allergy. Service great and food delicious.

The Golden Egg was delicious! They accommodated my gluten free and egg tolerances. I had an veggie egg white omelette, half a GF waffle, GF toast (Hilltop Hearth Bakery), grits and fruit bowl. So good that I took half of it home for later. My family also enjoyed their breakfast. I recommend this place for people with GF intolerance.
Very nice waitstaff who informed me that they do not have a separate kitchen space and the pancakes are cooked on the same griddle as the gluten free pancakes. Totally not gluten free.

Very nice staff! The owner came out to the table and talked to us about blueberry GF muffin they added to menu. Highly Recommended!
Awesome!!! Gluten free options were super tasty and they went out of their way to make the French toast batter dairy free for me too. Super sweet people
Great experience. Server was very knowledgeable, and the portions were huge.
