They have a gluten free menu but no longer celiac safe. Can't guarantee cross contamination. So went to Nacho daddy instead. Their staff is knowledgeable and safe from cross contamination. They even have a separate fryer

Celiac

I would not feel comfortable recommending this restaurant to someone else with Celiac disease for two main reasons:

1. The menu options are very limited. As others mentioned, there are only 3 items listed on the gf menu. However, when they handed me the menu they said two of them were not available so I only had 1 option, which was the taco carbon (unclear if this was a temporary or permanent menu change). The three items were only offered with steak because all other meat (like the chicken and pork) are made with gluten. They also said that nothing else on the main menu could be made gf, even with substitutions.

2. The staff did not have good knowledge on gf. I ended up talking to 4 different people and none of them were confident or consistent in their information. My original waiter said they didn't even have a gf menu, the second person incorrectly said that the vegetarian options would also be gf, I had to explain what gluten was the third waiter (he thought dairy was gluten), and the fourth server said that she thought everything was cooked in the same pan and it couldn't be cleaned. At least the second guy knew enough to tell me that the chips were not gf.

The only way I would recommend this restaurant is if you were not celiac, had no other dietary restrictions and would be able to eat/enjoy their limited options, and were able to call ahead and make sure the gf items were actually available.

What a hidden treasure! They had a menu for gf options and I chose the taco carbon. I’m celiac, and expressed how important it was to have it gf. I’m so very glad we stopped! The food was amazing! So many flavors, it makes your tastebuds dance! This will be my Vegas go to. Located inside the New York, New York.

No GF menu was offered to me. I told the waiter that I have Celiacs. Asked about chips, and he said they were safe. Upon further questioning, they are made in a shared fryer. I ordered carnita enchiladas. I have been sick ever since. Will never go there again.

Had the Chicken Tomatilla and it was excellent. Yes, they only have three items on the GF menu, but I would much rather have only three choices that are safe choices.

Does stink that the chips are cross contaminated.

The most important part is that I didn’t get sick!

Not really all that GF. Chips are fried in the same oil as everything else, so not gluten free at all. Have 6 options on GF menu and after figuring out that Celiac can only have 3, the sword fish was really good. Service was good once they realized that chips fried in the same oil does not mean GF. Recommend the food, but be careful and talk to your server or the manager.

Hostesses and waiters didn't seem to have a clue what gluten was but they did have a GF menu. I had the GF carne asada nachos. Good food but you have to be very trusting of the staff. Remind them of your allergy/intolerance.
