The staff is very knowledgeable. Definitely let the server know of allergies to be sure of extra precautions to prevent cross contamination. They have gluten free options listed for online ordering as well. The only gluten free ramen is the Yasai. Supposedly the pork belly is no longer gluten free (and possibly never was). The tofu is okay, but it’s quite squishy. Get a chili bomb if you want it spicy! The Brussel sprouts are the only appetizer, and I get them frequently. They are covered in a delicious vinaigrette type sauce.
I think the only things that are gluten free are the ones labeled (1 ramen and 1 appetizer). Either way my server was super nice and double checked with the kitchen for me! This is the best gluten free ramen I’ve had. I also recommend adding pork belly to your ramen if you’re not vegan because the pork belly was incredible!
I absolutely loved this place, they were so nice about my gluten allergy + did an amazing job accommodating my service dog & working around him. Great experience & didn’t get sick!! There is no gluten free menu but they will tell you if you ask! There’s truly only one ramen that is GF but it’s sooo good!! I believe it is listed as GF on their online menu
We ordered vegan ramen (we're not vegan - the non-vegan broth has gluten but the vegan broth has no gluten so it's a good starting point) with the gluten free noodles and replaced the tofu with pork belly.
The gluten free noodles were the same type that are used in pho a lot. Those are naturally gluten free as they're made from starch and water and they are DELICIOUS. So everything turned out delicious.
Also - they don't upcharge you for needing gluten free like a bunch of other places do. The gluten free ramen was the cheapest of the ramens on the menu - which is a rare treat.
I ordered the vegetarian ramen, substituted the tofu for pork belly. I can’t eat soy(tofu)due to my thyroid. I had them add garlic pieces, and green onion. I asked if the soft boiled egg and bamboo shoots could also be added, but they soak those in soy ( contains gluten) so I couldn’t add those last two items. The ramen was very good. I didn’t think it would taste as good as with rice noodles but it was still just as good! I also ordered the Brussels sprouts as those are the only appetizers that are also GF. They also asked if gluten was an allergy and I informed them of my celiac, they posted it on the ticket and on my order. The recipes had gluten allergy all over it in red writing. The staff was amazing and they were very knowledgeable.
They have a vegan bowl, which you can get with GF glass noodles. (The veggie broth is kept separate from the broth they use for the regular noodles.) If you're not vegan, you can add pork belly. The Brussels sprout salad and the wakame (seaweed) salad are also GF and very good. The staff brought our dishes out with gloves on, and announced "allergy" with each dish, so clearly they are trained in anti-contamination procedures.
The staff is very well trained! The vegan ramen is gf with the gf noodles and you can ask for pork belly to be added. They also have several safe drink options.
Delicious ramen! Was told all of the gluten free items are cooked separately and had know problem. Staff seemed knowledgeable but all gluten free options are vegan.
The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the food, and the menu was marked with gluten free options. Saving this for future reference.
