One of the three of us has celiac. We shared three dishes & enjoyed all. The non-celiac dad said, “That’s the best waffle I’ve ever had!” The Reuben sandwich with homemade potato chips were delicious too. Once a year I travel here & this time I also enjoyed the cinnamon bread, blueberry bread, & English muffins.
Fantastic bakery with breakfast and lunch. Owner is a Celiac and safe sources all their ingredients. I cried I had so many choices. Everything was delish! Counter person was also a Celiac. I might love to Tucson just to be near this place!!!!
Wow! This place was wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff were personable and helpful, everything was gluten free and Celiac safe (without risk of cross contamination) which always feels like heaven for our kiddo who can order freely from every option on the menu without having to disclose to staff. This is our favorite place on this side of Tucson. ❤️
I’m still raving about this place months after my visit! I enjoyed especially the fried cheese sticks! The marinara was perfection! I ate there and took a turkey pesto sandwich to go for my road trip along with a number of baked goodies. I was especially enamored with the chocolate taco, cream puff and chocolate Twinkie! Everything was delicious and I’m always excited to find a place where I can eat anything on the menu. I also tried the Mexican wedding cookies which were better than expected - I couldn’t remember what they tasted like, it had been so long since I’d tried them. Next time I’m near Tucson, I’m definitely there!
Wow, fish and chips for breakfast! I visited Gourmet Girls with a friend today and found out that we can order either breakfast or lunch at either time. The fish and homemade potato chips were crunchy and delicious, and the slaw and tartare sauce were really good, too. I tried a sample dessert which was sweet for my taste, but the meal itself was wonderful. I will be back!
Simply amazing. The waiter brought us complimentary mozzarella sticks when we told him this was my first time eating out in 3 months. They were amazing along with the fish and chips (which is what I would recommend). I came back the next day and got the breakfast burrito and bought some banana bread and desserts to take home. Everything was great and it was amazing to know it's all complete safe.
Entire place gluten free. Wall-to-wall and entire menu safe. Wonderful coos and we always take cookies and cupcakes home. So thankful for an entire restaurant and bakery for GF people. My husband loves their omlettes and cupcakes. I’m partial to the Rueben and cupcakes.
I have celiac disease, and it sucked, until I came here. This place is amazingly delicious. The food choices are one of a kind. Zach, the greatest server I have met to date, suggested the chorizo and eggs. It was stupid crazy delicious. I would recommend this place over any other in Tucson. And those cupcakes are like crack cocaine!
I have celiac and am so grateful for this restaurant! Especially love the fish sandwich for lunch. Menu is varied, with lots of delicious choices, and also many bakery items. Nice and clean; fresh atmosphere and decor. They close mid-afternoon; I wish they were open later.
Really good sandwich and salads, breads tasty and moist. We had lunch there, yummy, and took out a bunch of goodies to survive the first part of our Arizona visit. The pecan rolls are "to die for" and the cupcakes some of the best I've had in 20 years!
I love this bakery! As a celiac, it's difficult to give up gluten filled foods. I've had blueberry pancakes, pecan pie, coconut cream pie, English muffins, and chicken salad here. All amazing! In addition, they made me a custom coconut cake for my birthday. It is the best birthday cake I have ever had, gluten cakes included. Everyone who tried it loved it. Thank you so much for making my birthday so amazing!
Very glad we made it here on our trip to Tucson. This is one of the largest dedicated GF restaurants I've ever been to (seating wise). Had the Sonoran Wrap which was delicious! Also, the sweet potato fries were the best. Plus had a delicious mimosa. Bought lots of baked goods to take home ... liked the two vegan cupcakes (one chocolate with cherry) and the blueberry and pumpkin breads the best. Highly recommend this place ... it's a must stop if you're in Tucson! Met the owner, Hector and another female worker who is numerous allergies. This place is outstanding. Will definitely go back if in Tucson again!
Phenomenal food!!! We were in Tucson for the day (from the valley), and stopped here. My daughter has celiac. There are SO many choices, and the bakery stuff is so fun and delicious!!! If I didn't have to drive so far, I would've had a prickly pear margarita. Maybe next time! Well done gourmet girls!!!
Super!!! Gourmet Girls is a treat for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal out - whether or not he/she has gluten concerns. Our daughter has Celiac Disease & it was such a joy to see her excitement at being able to order anything she saw in the bakery case &/or on the menu. Highly recommend!!
