80% of the menu was gluten free. Our sever asked about us about allergies when we ordered drinks. We didn’t ask about separate fryers etc but they seem to be fully aware of dietary needs. Menu is easy to reach online. Can eat inside or at the outside patio. Our food was lovely and we would return / recommend to others. There is a version of this restaurant in San Fran too.

Updated 2023-new menu and a new chef…who has celiac herself. The majority of the menu is GF and care is now taken in everything. Great chips and guac!
Literally zero stars for Celiac. They have a GF menu, but it all goes through a shared fryer-so we get limited of maybe 4 things. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I felt off after and definitely do not recommend for food-just a cocktail.

For a restaurant that markets itself as gluten free there are shockingly few options as most dishes have cross contamination and the kitchen essentially refuses to make any accommodations. The menu shows dozens of gluten free options and when it came time to order, the waiter told me there were two dishes that could actually be made safely. If you have celiac or an allergy, do not go here.

Strongly do not recommend Gracias Madre for those with serious gluten allergies — there is cross contamination in almost every dish (even the tortillas). Avoid!

Didn't feel great after eating here despite a lot of items being marked GF on the menu.

No options basically for someone sensitive to cc. Not even the chips. Ambiance and drinks get one star, otherwise Not even worth it.

Great vibe great drinks....... But little to no options for celiacs. Can’t have the chips

I am not one of those people who gets sick when eating gluten, but after reading other reviews I made sure to tell the server that I needed to avoid cross-contamination. He brought me an iPad with a listing of the GF options in two categories: those that would not have contact with gluten and those where there would be cross-contamination.
The food was very good and creatively cooked and served.
The setting was very pretty, an outdoor courtyard. Interesting drink menu. Good for a special occasion.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. worst glutening of my life here. Was very explicit with waiter but that didn’t matter. Sloppy ownership that also runs Cafe Gratitude that glutens people all the time. Horror stories of friends glutened here too.
No
They had a gluten free menu but I tested my food with the Nima sensor and it came back with gluten found. Tested the dressing on the gluten free Caesar salad and it didn’t pass so wouldn’t trust much there.
GF menu and knowledgeable staff, but no separate GF fryer
I got sick here. It was about a year ago. I had eaten here before and been okay. I explained that I had Celiac Disease to the waiter and ordered my same meal that I had eaten safely on other occasions. I got very sick and have not gone back since.
Really excellent food and a fantastic cocktail menu. Everything is vegan, and most of the items are gluten free but you have to ask to make sure. Highly recommended.
