The servers did not seem to be aware of celiac, or the importance of needing to be gluten free. I asked if they had a gluten free menu, but they told me that they had gluten free pasta, and then walked away from our table. When I ordered from the menu, I again asked for gluten free, and my dish was certainly NOT gluten free. I are the green beans and the wine, and that was all. Overall, I was not pleased with the service.
No
I eat there for lunch every day, because it's right by my work. It's a small restaurant. He has GF pasta already. I take him my GF Udi's flatbread and I have the minestrone soup minus the pasta plus chicken (YUMMY), and then he does his magic with the Udi's flatbread. Or I can choose to make a pizza out of it. If enough people come who are GF looking for the GF pizza, he will start carrying the GF crusts too. But for a regular like me, I just take him a stack of them once a month or so. His sauces are not thickened with anything with gluten, so it's safe to eat for me. I don't have celiac disease, just severe gluten intolerance. I've been able to eat there without getting sick. He has many items on the menu that are GF. And because he is a small business owner on site, he is pretty easy about accommodating people.
