Bad experience here unfortunately. Staff was not very knowledgeable and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. They “guessed” that the potatoes were not safe, and only after me pressing about the waffle maker did they ask the chef to clean it before making my GF waffle. I specifically said I couldn’t eat pork, but my plate arrived with bacon on it. The waitress then in front of me just scraped the bacon off and gave me back the same plate with bacon grease all over it. I was afraid to eat the GF waffle after that.
While they have a lot of gluten free items, they are all prepared on shared surfaces. I went with the omlet and a side of fruit because the server agreed that would be the safest option when it comes to cross contamination. She asked if I am celiac and said she would note it on the order. I realized as I was eating my omlet that I shouldn't have ordered bacon and cream cheese in the omlet because those items pose a risk for cross contamination. Food was average at best. Service was very slow which was probably because they were so busy
I got a waffle and a SPAM omelette everything tasted great and no issues with getting sick. Considering there hadn't been any reviews it made me nervous as I typically don't eat if there aren't reviews because I'm that sensitive. However this place did a great job and it tasted fantastic!
