I have eaten at Gringos La Porte many times and I have not had any issues. I eat the table chips with green sauce and red sauce, for my entree I get the shrimp avocado southwest salad with no tortilla strips and the margarita vinaigrette dressing. I have also gotten the house margarita .

I ordered from the gluten-free menu but I was still very ill after eating at this restaurant I would be very careful about eating here and I would be very careful to talk to the White staff to make sure and double sure that it really truly is gluten-free

I don't know why the other review says the chips are gluten free, they are most certainly not. One ER visit later..

Gringo's has an online Gluten Free Menu. Several different items to pick from. The chips severed at the table are listed as GF, which is great!

They have a separate gluten free menu and have lots to choose from. We eat here multiples times per month

Good food they do train their servers so most know what’s going on with GF dishes and occasionally one will not. I have eaten here multiple times and have not gotten sick. The chips are safe and so are the red and green salsa. The queso is GF just make sure it doesn’t come out in a corn tortilla shell as that is not GF. There is a Gluten Free menu.

Went there tonight asked fir a gluten-free menu which I received. I ordered the Pollo con queso stipulated gluten-free asked for beans instead of rice as the rice is not gluten-free. The waitress said she understood as her mom was gluten-free. When my food came out there was rice in the plate so I explained that I couldn't eat it as I am extremely sensitive. They took it back and said they would have it remade. My new plate came out without rice so I ate and got glutened. Very disappointed 😞
