Amazing! Server was knowledgeable. Tons of GF options marked on the main menu. I had the burrata with cucumbers instead of bread and the grilled mahi mahi which was SO good. No GF bread unfortunately but everything was very tasty!

A large amount of variety and the food tasted good. Gf bread and desserts available as well as a wide variety of appetizers, seafood, etc. My only criticism is the portions are SMALL for how expensive it is. Also, don’t be fooled and overdress like I did… definitely more casual.

Great meal. Everything was marked. Lobster-escargot was amazing. Pour the sauce on the mashed potatoes! So good!!! Great service, very knowledgeable.

The experience depends heavily on your server! Our server didn’t understand what gluten was and brought out bread with our lobstercargot and soy sauce with our tuna. I picked around it but still got glutened ☹. The table beside us had a peanut allergy and their server was taking every precaution to check food so it really is dependent on the server. Overall, the starters tasted fantastic as well as the sangrias! The grouper was not good at all but the sides made up for it. They do have a gluten free menu online though it doesn’t match the markings on the menu in person.

Worth a shot, but if you see red flags don’t ignore them like I did!

Wow, no. Food was delicious, however waiter was seriously rude when we had a few questions about the choices and menu. I was ordering for myself and my seven year old daughter. It’s a big deal to her that she can’t have gluten so a bit of courtesy goes a long way. After discussing the mashed potatoes being gluten free but not labeled, just the chip in the top needed to be not included, he brought out my mashed potatoes with the chip in the top, realized his mistake and tried to remove it behind my back. I had to address this as the entire table saw him do it. His response was “you saw that?”. He then proceeded to replace my meal into small tapas sized plates that he had brought out for the bread. Needless to say I got sick. Sometimes it is so hard to walk the balance between caution and ruining everyone else’s time. I will be calling to speak to the manager directly, in hopes that no one else has this experience, but truly, I’ve not had a more difficult time from a restaurant that was highly rated on here.

So many gluten free options and they were very knowledgeable. Items very clearly marked. They used to have a separate menu but they've changed it to marked items. No separate fryers so can't have fries but the mash is delicious. The mash doesn't say gf on the menu but it is, she told us it was an error. It usually comes with a chip on top which they take off, so definitely safe.

So many seafood options but only a small meat selection which is completely understandable for a seafood restaurant.

This place never disappoints! Our place is in St Pete but definitely worth the drive! The scallops are my favorite!

Great outdoor patio and some good options on the menu. Our waiter was very knowledgeable. I had the lobstercargo and cinnamon icecream. My husband had a bunless burger and flour less chocolate cake. The rest of our extended family members loved the restaurant and the standard dishes.

We went to Guppy’s with a party of 8. They were super accommodating with our 2 members with Celiac. My daughter (11) had the lobstercargo small plates, shrimp cocktail, and asparagus. My husband had swordfish wrapped in bacon with Chorizo grits. That dish normally comes with a chipotle cream sauce, which wasn’t gf. They were really good about delivering the food deliberately to the two who were gf.

Had a great experience here! They have gluten free options (or plates that can be easily modified) clearly marked on the main menu. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and how each dish would be modified to accommodate my allergy. There’s a lot of appetizer and main entrée options! I had the swordfish. Overall a great experience!

An absolutely incredible and memorable experience from start to finish. Server was knowledgeable and patient with questions related to GF options and cross contamination. The chef adapted a non GF seafood dish to make it GF for me and even provided a choice of sauces. Delicious food, elegant atmosphere and most importantly I felt 100% safe eating here!

My husband and I were looking for a nice restaurant for a family dinner. We really scored with this establishment. The server was knowledgeable. They had a separate gluten free menu. And everything was fantastic. The scallops with vanilla bean sauce were easily my favorite meal on vacation.

I've eaten at Guppy's three times now and it's been wonderful each time. Their fresh grilled grouper is to dream of, for real. Smoked fish spread is also a must-try!

Only gave 3 stars because I did not get sick. I would have gave 2 if not. They have many things listed as GF on the menu however it is not true. For example Fish and chips is listed as gluten free but you can have the fish grilled in pan plain no batter and no fries either because it's a shared fryer. So I got a fish pan cooked plain with broccoli.

It was good, not the best grouper and shrimp we have had here but I give it a 99%. I have to be gluten free/celiac and they did great accommodating. But forgot to put the sauce on our grouper and shrimp. Waiter was awesome! They do have a specifics lunch and dinner menu gluten free with all types of options. Nothing fied though

Second time here this trip. Have grilled options that are very tasty - fish is fresh! No dedicated fryer, but veggie and salad sides.

They had a lot of gf options and waitress was knowledgeable about gf items. I stick to ordering things plain and I was good with a grilled lobster tail and steamed veggies and didn’t get sick.

Despite the name this restaurant is not on the beach.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly about celiac/gluten free. I felt safe eating here and didn’t have any issues. The food was really good!

My best friend lives out of town. She came for a visit this month and wanted to take me out for a fancy dinner. (IE: expensive and high end). She also mentioned eating on the water,.....and Guppies popped into my mind.! I had only eaten there once before, but was giddy with the idea of going back! Although technically not on the water,Guppy’s is across the street from it. My non-celiac friend thoroughly enjoyed her Mediterranean chicken. It really looks fabulous with rice, veggies and naan bread pieces. The website noted that there was a menu for celiac diners, so I asked for the gluten free menu, finding my choice right away! Scallops! The service was leisurely but at a decent pace. The temperature permitted, so we ate on the huge front porch. We saw a nice mix of vacationers and locals. There were ample parking spaces in several adjacent lots.

I didn’t get sick and enjoyed my mean very much—-like my first visit about 5 years ago. I highly recommend!

Excellent restaurant! Knowledgeable staff, separate gluten free menu with a decent selection. My kids loved it. Our bill was $220 for the six of us, but we didn't hold back at all.

Great GF menu! Were willing to make accommodations based on preferences. We had the blue crab guacamole with carrot slices, an excellent Caesar salad, and lobster escargot. I would definitely go back!
