Was looking forward to having a burger and fries. Was shocked to hear they had changed their fry supplier and they were not gluten-free.

I regularly visit Hard Rock locations in the U.S. and have never had a bad experience. However, this past weekend at the Nashville location, I had the worst dining experience I have had since going gluten free. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with a gluten free bun (my regular order) and informed the waitress that I have a pretty serious allergy to wheat. When I received my meal I was positive I received a normal bun because it did not look like what I had previously received and was identical to the normal buns at the table. I asked "is this gluten free" and she said "yes." A few minutes later I asked if she was sure it was gluten free and she said yes. I did not touch my food and when she came back to check on us someone else at the table asked if it was gluten free. She said that she was positive it was, but would take it back to the cook to double check. About 10 minutes later she dropped it back off (looking the exact same) and said that it had been remade and that she had watched the cook pull the bun from the gluten free bag. I was still unsure about the bun, but had been assured by her so many times that I figured I was just being crazy. At this point I was starving, so I scarfed down about half of the sandwich. However, within minutes my throat was swelling and I could tell that I had had wheat. She comes back over and we ask to see the bag that she referred to earlier because I was getting sick and something was not right. Minutes later a man we had not seen this entire meal comes running up saying "that sandwich was not gluten free the manager will be right over." The manager came over and took one look at the remaining bun on my plate and said "that is not our gluten free bun, that is a normal bun." He was very nice and I could tell he was freaked out about what would happen since I was having an allergic reaction in his restaurant. I explained to him that I understand accidents happen and if I had ate the bun without double checking multiple times it would be on me. However, the server assured me on multiple occasions that it was gluten free and even claimed to watch them pull a bun straight from gluten free packaging. This server obviously lied to me and I would not recommend dining at this location while she is employed there.

I ended up at the wrong restaurant... 😕
Some Hard Rock locations have a gluten-free menu but some do not. Please check the particular location you are interested in.
Server was very attentive when I told him I had Celiac Disease. All you have to do is ask for a gluten free bun. It was absolutely awesome.

Sat down just to have some beverages in a kid friendly restaurant but asked our waitress if they offer gluten free & were pleasantly surprised they did. Because of this, we decided to order meals & not just drinks. Waitress was phenomenal & very knowledgeable on serving to celiacs. We were very delighted when she informed us that they have a dedicated fryer so the fries were safe to eat too. Ordered a burger on a gf bun & fries & they were delicious! Great service!!!

Burger with gf bun and fries were great. Waitress was very knowledgeable.
I just read Micheal's comment and it surprised me because I ask my server twice if the fries were safe and she said they had a dedicated fries. Since I trust no one and know how easy you can mess up a GF plate, I also doubled check about cross contamination and she assured me that all was safe. The bun was GF and the fries were good, I was fine so hopefully they do have a dedicated frier now. Anyhow next time I walk into a HR I will check with the manager.
They have GF buns. Seemingly knowledge staff. No dedicated fryer. Celiacs beware! I'm Gluten Intolerance, so I'm good with GF buns. Fries are NOT GF! Go for the mashed potatoes.

Great service, best Chicken sandwich with chips 🤪👍😍

I called ahead and spoke to the manager to ask about how safely I could eat at this restaurant gluten-free. He assured me not to eat the fries as they recently switched brands and they would have wheat - and now the fryer would be cross contaminated, so don’t order wings
I asked his name and if he would be there and could babysit my meals since I am driving seven hours tomorrow
The manager was leaving - and yet he share with the next manager name Sam
When I arrived, I met Sam who had told the kitchen staff and bartender of my sensitive food allergy
I have had to eat this way for 19 years - and I have learned how important it is to talk to a manager and stress how important it is to eat out without cross contamination…- and yay! I had a great pulled pork sandwich on a GF bun with mashed potatoes and it was delicious and I didn’t get sick!

GF burger was awful. Avoid for a proper meal. Wings were nice but the patty from the burger is one of the worst I’ve had. Go elsewhere!
