Some Hard Rock locations have a gluten-free menu but some do not. Please check the particular location you are interested in.
We normally try and find a Hard Rock Cafe whenever we stop in a new city location on the first day, as we know they will accommodate coeliacs. Venice was no different, and our waiter gave us confidence that our meal would be prepared safely. We had a lovely window with passing gondolas. On this occasion we had the steak salad.
If you are Celiac and need a great place to eat that is not Italian food Hard Rock is fantastic! They don’t have a GF Menu but most entrees can be made GF if requested, just ask your server they will help and they are very knowledgeable about this allergy definitely a place to go if you can’t find anything else
The ribs are not safe for those with celiac!!!! Prior comments say they are but consulting the allergen list online and talking to the wait staff clarified that they are not safe. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries. The grilled buffalo wings, gluten free burgers, and fries were all good safe options! The waiter said that other fried things are not safe i.e. the chicken and onion rings etc. Food came out marked with a different color flag than gluten food. Easy to sub dairy free by forgoing cheese on burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Felt a little underwhelmed by the lack of atmosphere in the place (my husband loves a burger hence choosing it), but from a GF point of view they clearly knew their stuff... Waitress knew the menu well and talked about cross contamination (as in my husband could have the grilled wings but not fried as the oil was also used for cooking something breaded) which instilled me with confidence. It is very much a burger and fries establishment but it's in a nice spot and I actually thoroughly enjoyed my burger (far more than I expected 😂).
The Hard Rock Cafe in Venice has a wide range of gluten-free dishes such as fries, burgers (with gluten-free buns and replacements for the union rings such as avocado…), wings, nachos… basically everything and also beer. The waiters and waitresses try to help as much as possible. A truly wonderful experience!!!
After a couple of weeks of pizza and pasta, we were craving burgers and fries. Hard Rock Cafe hadn’t been reviewed on this app so I walked in and asked about options and protocols. They were very knowledgeable about celiac. All sandwiches/burgers can be done with a gluten free bun (which was really good!) and the fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer. Our waiter also said they had a gf brownie for dessert. We didn’t have dessert but our lunch was great!
I ate here and at hard rock in Bangkok.
They take it seriously, I spoke to both the managers who came to my table. Both places use separate fryers for the fries.
Ordered steak, burger without bun and burger with gluten free bun on 3 separate occasions.
Everything was good, they are really accommodating. Would recommend others to eat here
Went to check out the options before actual booking. There is gluten free options but not any choice for vegetarians. Only meat burgers available. Was disappointed. Went to Spago restaurant instead which was amazing. Only giving one star as that is the lowest option but there is nothing here if you are coeliac and vegetarian.
the dude commented on my allergies, saying my burger would be plain because of how much stuff I had to leave off. they brought gluten fries instead of gluten free ones. four of my friends didn't receive their food until 30min after everyone else had theirs. we said we're splitting the check and still got it all together (9 people).
