Review of Hatch Taqueria And Tequilas

I went to Hatch 3 times while in Jackson. The first two times I did not get sick. There's no dedicated fryer so I had corn tortillas with guacamole in place of chips. My chicken tacos and, next trip, huevos rancheros were great.

HOWEVER, on my third visit my server told me that the same grill was used for everything and that they absolutely could not make my food in a separate space or with clean knives and cutting boards. Rather than risk it I left.

I did not get sick luckily, but I wish that I had gotten more information during my first two visits. What's more, I wish the restaurant had been more accommodating. There were only 5 other people there when I was told that there were no clean knives. I would have been happy to wait a little if they could have taken some basic precautions.
