We are so excited to have found Healthy Creations while here on vacation. Our son has Celiac and this place is our new favorite.
Our son enjoyed a delicious pastry and chose other baked goods to go. We stocked up on bread and English muffins. We also enjoyed a goat cheese artichoke quiche that was AMAZING and specialty lattes with house made sauces. My pumpkin latte tasted like actual pumpkin in the best way, not like sugar.
We wish we could take Healthy Creations back home with us.
It is precious for someone with celiac to be able to walk into an establishment, not even have to explain themselves and their parameters and just get to enjoy anything from all the options. Hard to even put into words how special that is. Our son got that gift today at Healthy Creations. We are thankful.
Stopped here on our last visit to San Diego. The food was really good and the service was friendly. We were on a time crunch to get to the airport and they were kind enough to rush our order. There were so many options on the menu that it was hard to choose what to order. My celiac daughter chose the grove breakfast sandwich and enjoyed it. She said although the gf brioche wasn’t a brioche texture, it was delicious and had the perfect amount of flakiness (which is hard to find in gf breads). I had the kale Caesar salad, which was also good. I really enjoyed the herbed grain-free croutons. They had a large selection of baked goods to choose from. Based on the cashier’s recommendation, daughter got a pumpkin muffin. She said it had the perfect texture and was delightful. My chocolate chip cookie was so yummy she ate a good portion of it too. This place will definitely be on our list for the next trip!
I stopped by for brunch and had a wonderful breakfast sandwich and brought home a cupcake as well. The bread was the best fresh gluten free bread I’ve had! There were a lot of options on the menu and it was almost overwhelming feeling so free to pick whatever I wanted knowing it was all safe for me.
Completely GF kitchen! Lots of vegan options including bread, desserts, & drinks. I highly recommend the Avocado & Hummus Toast. We love coming here every time we're in San Diego & we never have to worry about cross-contamination.
I’ve gone here for several years. A bit of a hidden gem and I’m so glad they’re here. Delicious food, I’ve never had anything not good here. Great service. Cute seating.
Sister restaurant to nectarine grove, another all gluten free establishment. It’s a must for anyone visiting the area!
I recommend the chicken panini, the avocado toast, and any of the bakery items.
This place is 100% gluten free and 100% delicious. From paninis and sandwiches to brunch and dessert, the choices are endless. I wish I could move in!
This place is amazing, but it is an absolute staple as someone with Celiac disease. I am there at last once a week, often several times. The Paleo plate is my go to and they make a great tuna melt but the egg Sammy and caprese stack are really good too. My husband loves the veggie hummus sandwich. The peanut butter brownie and cinnamon roll are to die for and you wouldn't even know they are gluten free. Love!!
100% gluten free! Had the curried chicken salad wrap and my daughter with celiac had a quesadilla. Both were tasty!
We had a great, safe lunch and I was able to take a piece of quiche and dessert back to the hotel for dinner too. It was busy for a Wednesday afternoon at lunch so the service was a bit slow and there was not enough places to sit. I don’t know if that’s the norm or not since we were traveling. Would definitely go back if I have the chance!
As a person who has dealt with severe Celiacs disease for over 58 years, I only eat at dedicated GF restruants-- and they are few and far between. Here I had smoked salmon salad with bread stick, minestrone soup with bread sticks and stocked up on a host of prepared yummy main dishes, quiche and desserts for recent vacation in town. It was fun to walk the locals come pouring in for their lunches and treats. Staff were all lovely. Thank you!
This place is amazing! My partner and I RARELY eat out because so many places miss the mark when it comes to celiac/quality of food. Well, this place nails it. We peaked around and they use TOP quality ingredients and we felt GREAT eating and afterword :) This place mirrors and tastes like our own kitchen, which is saying a lot, because my partner is a nutrition based chef! Love it! Keep up the great work Healthy Creations! With love from Tucson, Bryce & Kate.
This place used to be my go to breakfast spot. They changed the menu because it wasn’t convenient for them when customers come in a group of four. (That’s what the cashier said to me) now the food looks like for OCD people. For Encinitas location, I would recommend another place. Healthy creations waiting time is bad even when there is nobody in the restaurant. I regret not cooking at home and spend my money wisely.
We are listed under gluten free places to eat but not bakeries. We have a full dedicated gluten free bakery with tons of dairy free, vegan and paleo options! Thanks!
