Review

Hershey Park had quite a few options for gluten free eaters. There’s an entire booth dedicated to gluten free foods (tenders, pretzel bites, salads, and wraps) called The Outpost/Flying Fare. I got GF chicken tenders and fries from the Overlook Food Court. There’s an entire line at the far end of the food court that’s solely GF. The tenders and fries were prepared in a separate designated mini kitchen with its own utensils and fryers! While I was certain they were safe, the chicken was very dry and the fries were soggy. However, both had nice flavor and it could’ve been an off day!

Oh and we wanted to try The Chocolatier, but with little reviews, we wanted to check with the restaurant first about GF options. However, the hostess (who was standing around) said she was not willing to ask the kitchen or wait staff questions. She said we’d have to wait a 2 hour wait to be seated and then we can ask our waiter about the menu then. Why would I wait that long to ask questions only to possibly find out I couldn’t safely eat there? She was very rude towards us too and made it seem like gluten issues weren’t a real thing…
