I went there over the weekend. My waitress was really knowledgeable about what was gluten free and put an *allergy* note for my order. Even though they don’t have a dedicated fryer, there are still some really good thing that are gluten free on the menu. I just had the pulled pork nachos, which were really good, but the waitress told me that the brisket, the ribs, the mashed potatoes (no gravy), and some of the vegetable sides are gluten free. No reaction. I’d go back.

Loved the food and the atmosphere! Great celiac/gluten free restaurant. Staff was completely up to date with all allergy related questions. My daughter has a rough time eating out but here she left totally fine and felt confident eating there. They don't have a dedicated fryer but the mash potatoes Without the gravy were gluten free. The mashed potatoes were so good we didn't miss the fries. She got the chopped BBQ brisket and I got the sliced brisket platter. Absolutely delicious!

Very tasty. No dedicated fryer, but lots of non-fried gf options. Wait staff was knowledgeable.
This place is a total surprise. No GF menu, but the serving staff is incredibly reliable, as is the kitchen. I know one of the serving staff personally who is very aware of Celiac requirements. She has full confidence in the kitchen to keep me safe.I have eaten here over 20 times. I have never gotten sick. Highland Fried is BBQ bae.
