They had GF chicken tenders and fries. Sooo good! The batter on the tenders was AMAZING! Good price is a plus! It’s been 6 hours and I feel great.
I’ve been here several times and the owner is so careful for celiacs and makes sure he uses separate condiments and a separate fryer. I have had the hoagies, fries and desserts, but want to come for one of the special gf fried nights!
We love Hoagie Bros! Avi, the owner, is very informed about Celiac/Gluten/Cross-Contamination. They have a designated GF prep area. We love their GF subs, soups, fries, and desserts! Highly recommend!! (Rated safety as a 4 only because it’s not a dedicated GF establishment.)

It’s pricey but worth it. The ingredients are very high quality. Tastes better than any sandwich shop I’ve been to. And doesn’t get me sick! Very happy with this place.

I am celiac and have eaten here numerous times without issue. Avi is a unique, awesome & tireless business owner who does his best to provide options for our allergy (no I’m not related or have any connection other than a customer). In the same regard, this is NOT a dedicated GF facility and cross-contamination is always a possibility— it is impossible to expect otherwise, so adjusting your expectation would be more realistic. I’ll continue to recommend them as a great option for GF- thank you Hoagie Bros!
Went here to excited to get a hoagie after so many awesome reviews..Got gluten within the hour. Should've known as the counters were not very clean and they were preparing my order right where another non-GF order had just been prepared. Definitely not safe for celiacs.
Delicious and well-priced sandwiches, salads. I wouldn't trust the paninis, though. I had a salad with Moroccan chicken and it was delicious! They have gelato and a number of different packaged gluten free desserts- muffin, brownie, peach crumble cake.
Hoagie Bros is the only local restaurant that we trust as a family with several celiac members. Avi is fabulous and goes out of his way to avoid any cross contamination and we have NEVER had an issue there. we don’t need to demand he change his routine, his set up is made with allergies in mind. Can’t recommend highly enough!
I was so disappointed with this experience. When he started making my sandwich I informed him that I am an especially sensitive celiac and asked him not to pull meat and toppings from the line, and instead pull from the back. He was very rude and in response acted offended and said “did you see all the positive gluten free reviews? 5 stars right? We know what we’re doing.” After this comment i insisted and i actually saw him pull toppings from the back, but I am very suspicious that they just used shared utensils. Needless to say, I have ended up sick this morning. I wish I could say I was surprised. I can’t recommend this place to anyone who is sensitive.
It was great to be able to get a quality gluten-free hoagie! One of the best that I've had outside of the Philadelphia area.
Much better than Jersey Mike’s!! We drove 30 minutes to this place, and it did not disappoint! Definitely recommend the Buffalo BLT!!
Absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things. The food is delicious and over 90% of the hoagies can be made celiac friendly. The owner was so personable and funny and had extensive knowledge about celiac and gluten free. He also tries to frequently have a celiac friendly “special” at least 2 times a month. This will for sure be a weekly place for us. Dedicated fryer and gluten free hoagie bun with a dedicated prep area (cutting boards etc).
Great hoagie rolls. Nice neighborhood feel. They don’t have dairy free cheese but it was delish.
This place is incredible! Owner was very knowledgeable about cross contamination/celiac and food was absolutely delicious. If there was an option for 6 stars, this place would get it.
Absolutely amazing!! One of the most safe I’ve felt dining out as a celiac. Went the first day and had the Moroccan chicken sandwich (fabulous), the Buffalo blt(awesome) and returned on Friday for the special…..fried chicken (spectacular). Can’t recommend this place enough. Owner is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about how to safely prepare the food. Oh and the GF brownies!! Had those each day. So good!
The BEST gluten free restaurant experience ever! I read many reviews on Hoagie Bro’s before going to try it, and it was nothing short of great! The owner is educated on cross contact, used fresh ingredients from the back, changed his gloves & cleaned every surface around where my food was prepared. After eating our food, he told us the desserts could be made gluten free too. We shared a gluten free s’mores roll for dessert & it was fantastic! The owner also let us know he has weekly specials for gluten free & celiac (specifically) guests such as fried chicken, onion rings, mac & cheese, and more. I had no reaction & will absolutely be going back again.
Fantastic! Not only was it delicious, the owner was very conscious about gluten free prep. He was great to our family! My GF family members raved about the sandwich bread!

a HELL of a sandwich; I got the panino pazzo and I could barely fit a bite in my mouth. It was super flavorful and didn’t taste like a GF sandwich at ALL. The worker was such a great guy, I didn’t catch his name, but definitely a must stop for a great GF (or not) sandwich. No reaction afterwards.
Excellent subs! Owner was so helpful and friendly. Four of us are Celiac and everyone felt great!
Absolutely delicious food. I ordered a Cubano and it was delicious. The worker also offered me onion rings and they were so amazing. I would come back just for the onion rings so make sure to ask if they have them. It is a little pricey though but personally I felt like it was worth it and similar to Jersey Mike's pricing.

Wonderful experience here. My son ordered the Broagie and I had the Moroccan chicken sandwich. Dedicated fryer for fries. Owner was very kind and knowledgeable. Offers GF dessert as well. Ice cream and cookies. If you get on his email list, he occasionally offers fried chicken and Mac n Cheese . Highly recommend this place.
Dedicated Fryer!!!! Had the Philly and fries. Very good. The owner was great and had some other gluten free options that were not on the menu.
Cannot say enough about this place! Asked the kid taking my order about gluten free options and the owner walked over and told me everything I needed to know without even asking, including about the dedicated fryer. Amazing food, amazing experience, and I did not get sick. Will definitely go back.

Best experience. Avi is not only awesome but he has a legitimate understanding of gluten free. He makes specialty items just for that reason... fish n chips, fried chicken... he creates the impossible!

My daughter has Celiac. He made her sandwich last and got new lettuce and toppings. Also had several Gelato GF flavors. Would definitely go back!
Great place for gluten free hoagies. They also have a gluten free weekly special such as fried fish or fried chicken. They have a dedicated fryer and staff is very conscientious of cross contamination. Very gluten free friendly. I had the fried fish and it tasted like the real thing. The homemade tarter sauce made it over the top!

I come back regularly and today Avi had fried fish and chips - all gluten free! It was so delicious! He continually adds specials to his menu for his gluten free customers that are simply amazing!
Celiac. Visited today for the first time. Excellent food !! I got the gf roast beef sandwich which was delicious and huge !! Boars head meats . French fries are gluten free, cooked to order and amazing . Staff is sooo personable and knowledgeable!! So many options to choose from. I will be back soon !
Very safe place for celiacs. The chef really cares about no cross contamination. They take their time and don’t prepare gluten items when preparing gluten free items. Very happy with this place. The quality of the products they use is top notch. Subway has nothing on this place!
Great selection of sandwiches. Staff very knowledgeable and took precautions to prevent cross contamination. Everything is made fresh to order, so it takes a little longer than some sub shops might.

This was AWESOME and I highly recommend the food! ONLY 2 subs can’t be made GF! The owner Avi has great knowledge of celiac and uses every precaution! There is Udis on hand and he’s also worked to accommodate people with multiple allergies! He truly cares about his customers and it shows!

So knowledgeable! Accommodating! Dedicated fryer (fries were delicious!) subs are delicious! The friendliest service I have ever had, bar none! I am told they offer special gluten items regularly- a sort of surprise menu.

Best place I have been since being diagnosed! The owner is beyond knowledgeable and super sweet with a great sense of humor! Made my whole experience amazing and the food was incredible! Felt safe the entire time and had no reactions! Even have a dedicated gluten free club essentially where you get notified of a special gluten free meal every week! Just incredible all around and I will be going very often!
I had the GF Philly cheesesteak and Cajun fries. Ohhhh my goodness it was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about being celiac, or just eating gluten free. Steak was cooked fresh to how you like it. My husband had regular sandwich that he enjoyed too! Great place to go and will go back next time we are in town!!!!
