Gluten free goulash with fries and seasonal vegetables was great! The bread is really great too. It’s been 24 hours and I have no reaction! Will definitely return

I had a GF red Rubenstein sandwich with Heavenly potatoes. Excellent! Afterwards we walked over to their market to buy more GF rolls and some dessert (German chocolate cupcakes). Server was knowledgeable and staff changes gloves, etc. Always a great experience

Had a wurst dinner here and it was excellent. The waitress said the fries were GF but the chef came out and explained that the fries used to be but things changed around and they were no longer cooked in a dedicated fryer. I was unhappy not to have fries but pleased that the kitchen was so careful.

We went on St. Patrick's Day and it was packed but we still had great service! I had: Aufschnitt Teller
Cold cuts and cheeses, with pickle, lettuce, tomato, spicy Dijon, and gluten-free bread for $11.79
It was very filling and I had no negative reactions at all. The waiter said the chef had an allergy and was very cross contamination conscious. Great experience!

We had a fabulous lunch here November 13th on our way to the train station. My husband who has celiac was able to enjoy delicious German food and beer that was gluten free. No reaction whatsoever. The staff was knowledgeable about what went into their meals. Can’t wait to go back!

A popular spot for many good reasons. Delicious food, a large selection of GF items and good service. My wife and I ate lunch here upon arrival by train. After our FL tour we stayed in Sanford the night before our departure and ate at Hollerbach's for dinner. I ordered Eisbein (skinless, bone-in pork shank served with Sauerkraut and Himmel & Erde apple mashed potatoes) and a liter of hard cider. Delicious! There is a great selection of top quality GF meats. The next morning we ordered two large salads with cold cuts and cheese for our dinner on the train. Visit Hollerbach's if you like good German food!

Amazing gluten free food! I was able to order fried schnitzel after the waiter confirmed that they fry it in a separate fryer. Waitress even brought out two gluten free mini loaves of bread. Felt very safe dining here with celiac!

Food was amazing! Many choices plus warm gf bread!!! Server was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable.
The gluten free menu had many options. Our waitress was very conscientious in letting me know that my husband’s sauce was not GF (he eats off the regular menu). The GF schnitzel was excellent!!!

I asked for a sausage with red cabbage, and a side salad, the salad arrived with a piece of wheat bread on the side (I asked if it was GF bread and it was"t), the waiter returned the salad and brought a new one, which I did not touch at the end ( too risky). I had no issues at all with the sausage and red cabbage , meaning ir was really GF.
The gluten free schnitzel was so good and authentic. They give you large portions and it is all very filling. I fully recommend.

I'm very sensitive to CC, and had no problem here. Enjoyed a Reuben sandwich and some gf muffins from the market next door. A real winner!

I’ve been a few times and each time the staff has been very knowledgeable and helpful - and they do have an anti-cross contamination protocol (new pans/utensils and cooking oil). The GF menu has lots of options and the food is always delicious. Highly recommend to anyone!

They do not use the proper precautions to avoid cross contamination.

Excellent gluten free dinner. Their gluten free bread is very soft, fresh, one of the best gluten free breads I've had. Balsamic chicken was delicious. There are a lot of gluten free choices, including gluten free beer and desserts. Entertainment was so fun. It's a great place to come with friends, family. We'll definitely be back

The BEST gluten free food!! Try the schnitzel or the eisbein!!! You will not go wrong eating here!! SOOO GOOD!!! Gluten free breading on the schnitzel even!

Hollerbach's food was delicious. There were multiple gluten free options on the menu. They also had a fantastic GF bread basket which was a treat in itself. If you are in Sanford, you should stop by.
2 Stars for their glutenfree menu which has lots of choices. But only 2 because the stuff we had today was really bad. We had different meat, Sauerkraut and Potato Salad and nothing tatsted fresh, we couldn't finish and can absolutely not recommend this place.

This place has a gluten-free menu with TONS of great choices. The food is amazing and the staff is accommodating and friendly when it comes to those of us who have to be gluten-free. They even have fresh-baked gluten-free bread you can get before (or with) your meal and they have gluten-free beer!! The same people who own this restaurant also have a market/deli around the corner where they sell pre-packaged gluten-free imported items (from Europe) as well as fresh-baked gluten-free items--made by a baker who has gluten intolerance in her family. Great stuff!
