This place was so amazing! Delicious food and very Celiac safe. The waiters knew what they were talking about and even mentioned the separate fryer before we even had to ask. I’m a super sensitive Celiac and I was able to eat here super easily and the food was so good! 10/10 would return
The staff is wonderful and very well educated! The owner has celiac, so everyone is very careful about cross contamination. The food is just wonderful and almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. There is a ton of variety as well. It’s a really great place and I would highly recommend it to anyone with celiac or a wheat allergy!
AMAZING! I got the wings and the truffle fries and they were delicious. Almost everything here can be made gluten free. The rest of my party said it was also the best food they'd had in a long time. They got the seafood linguini, the steak, and the orichello. I HIGHLY recommend this place, it was absolutely delicious.
I go here often and the waiters recognize me now. It’s gotten better over the last few years. They have a large gf menu. They switch up their entrees seasonally though so if you like something they may not have it when you go back. But just let them know you need gf and they will take care of you. I like the salads, pizza, short ribs, fish entrees...even desserts.
Stay away. I ordered off the gluten free menu but I am up all night with some of the worse stomach pains I have had in a long time. This is worse than getting cross contamination. It feels like I ate something with a very high gluten content. This is so so so bad and not worth ever taking the risk again.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable about Celiac Disease. They have a HUGE selection of GF meals. I was so excited to see that they had a GF lobster roll. The bread was amazing and lobster was literally nothing but lobster and spices. They have GF pasta for their dishes and a lot of their stuff is naturally gluten free. I didn’t get sick at all and everyone was super understanding.
I went here based on the reviews here and the fact that they have a separate gf menu. Problem is that all those gf items are on the regular menu so the server doesn't feel compelled to tell the kitchen there's a gf table. I ordered the gf Caesar salad and saw it come out with the crostini and the waiter promptly went behind the podium and took the crostini off and put them on a separate plate. Really??? I had the halibut entree for dinner which was supposed to be gf but I can guarantee there is cross contamination. I also had fries, but not sure if there is a dedicated fryer. Staff aims to please but misses the mark.
Owner has celiac so staff are well educated about cross contamination and true meaning of gluten free preparation. I am extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I react pretty severely to gluten. This is one of the only restaurants I can eat at without getting sick, including other restaurants that claim to be celiac friendly. Food is AMAZING. Some of the best food I've gotten at a restaurant (including non gf food from pre-diagnoses days...aaahhh, sigh).
Huge huge gluten free menu with good food. When I gave my usual third - degree to the waiter about cross-contamination and fries, he smiled and laughed .. "Don't worry, the oil is not cross-contaminated. One of the owners is gluten- free.. They GET it here." I love that!!! Highly recommend.
Very gluten free friendly! I went for brunch and the restaurant was very accommodating and knowledgable. The brunch burger and fries were out of this world! They also have a separate GF menu for dinner which is accessible online as well. I highly recommend Hudson Grille.
I made a reservation on open table and put a comment about being celiac. A gluten free menu was on the table AND the manager came over to make sure I was taken care of. The manager said someone who works there (may have been the manager or a relative of the manager but I can't remember exactly) has celiac disease. They just tried a new pizza crust and he was asking me what I thought about it. Delicious!!!! The pizza is awesome. Lots of options and knowledgable
