As far as GF options go, there are few options. If you go for the Mac N Cheese, like we did, the cheese sauce is thickened with flour, so not GF and the other options aren’t what we were looking for in a Mac N Cheese. The GF noodles were crunchy. We went in excited to try a new place and were let down. They do offer GF bread for a grilled cheese, however, we did not try that.
I personally spoke with the owner, whose teenage son has celiac disease. All of their pasta is sent in precooked, except for the gluten-free pasta, which is cooked on site, so there’s no cross-contamination with water. She’s very aware of the risks, and she keeps the gluten-free items far from any of the other gluten items. They do vegan Mac and cheese too. I had regular Mac and cheese and it was delicious. They have a lot of different options. Just let them know when you order about your allergy or Celiac Disease. Ask about the different sauces.
The staff did a wonderful job taking necessary precautions to prepare my food gluten free and it was very tasty. They have gluten free grilled cheese and mac and cheese. Sadly, there is a gluten free up charge and the portions leave a lot to be desired for $15 a plate which is the reason for my 3 star review.
The gluten free pasta comes pre cooked and is kept separate away from the table with the other pasta. There was a good amount of options for toppings and cheese. The Mac and cheese I got was pretty good! And they even have rice krispy treats that are gluten free. Staff seemed knowledgeable and prepared to handle celiac. Might go back, but only when I’m prepared to drop 20 bucks on a meal. I guess that’s just eating out nowadays though.
This place was not good.. salt and pepper did not even help. The flavor is bland and not really even cheesy. Should be named build your own pasta not mac and cheese. Even my son who loves food hated it and he ordered the lobster. It was a struggle to eat. I will not be eating here again. The staff was friendly and helpful.
This was our first time to I ❤ Mac and Cheese. The staff was great and knowledgeable about allergies. They explained how it all worked and even checked additionally for the nut allergy my other child has. The tots are made in the air fryer separately from other things. The GF pasta is scooped from a separate container behind where other noodles are kept. The staff changed gloves without us asking as well. They also said they could get ingredients from the back if needed. We didn't have them but they also let us know that the grilled cheese they offer are made with a separate spatula, knife, and slate with GF bread. They also had an NSF GF Certified Rice Crispy Treat!! They were absolutely wonderful go support.
Wasn’t a huge fan of the gf chicken parm Mac and cheese but I’m not ready to give up on this place! Next time I’m going for the traditional Mac and cheese! They told me they keep everything separate so no risk of cross contamination and they labeled my to go box gluten free!
