I came into the restaurant knowing there was some rolls that I could order being gluten free. I wanted the Kani Salad and California roll, which I was then told it wasn’t gluten free (totally fine). The chef said the Kraig had gluten in it, which made non gf.
One of the special rolls - Rainbow - says that is gluten free, but the description of the roll is “California roll topped with a display of salmon, red snapper, yellowtail tuna and avocado” which is basically California roll with toppings.
I asked them why the Rainbow roll was gf and California wasn’t, and they told me it was actually a mistake and they added the gf on the menu by accident. Super unacceptable and felt uncomfortable eating there after. As a person who isn’t deadly allergic and feels sick for days after I eat gluten, this was very disappointing.
