My family and o stopped here passing through from NC to MA. We were excited to try something “new” to us. First, the staff was rude beginning with the manager. She was speaking extremely loudly about an employee who she was planning to fire. When she sat us at our table, the waitstaff was very irritated and fought over who had to serve us. We then told them we have celiac disease and ordered our food. We were not given a notification that our waffles would take longer since they only have one GF waffle iron. We waited for our parts of our order for ten minutes after the first round came. The food was tasteless. The waitress never came to check on us, she forgot multiple items from our order and the manager was non-responsive. Total waste of time and money

GF items are marked on the menu: pancakes, potatoes and even a Belgian waffle. It states clearly that omelettes are made with wheat flour, so beware. Good food overall.

We went this past Sunday. The chain got bad reviews about cross contamination so I was skeptical. I told the waitress the I have to have my food gluten free. I don’t tell people Celiac because I find most don’t understand. So I say Gluten Allergy and they respond positively. She spoke to the chef and he offered to clean the flat top and utensils and cook only my items on it. The food came out and I had no issues with the Pancakes, eggs and hash browns. So good job Dover IHOP!

IHOP has recently started serving gluten-free pancakes, waffles, and burgers with gluten-free buns.
I got contaminated badly there. I explained to the waitress and other employees that o had celiac and I still got badly sick. Don't eat there!

I wasn't hungry when my husband wanted to go to breakfast, so I was game for IHOP as I was just going to get a drink, but then I saw the golden words "Gluten Sensitive Pancakes"!!! For $6.99 I got a stack of 2 delicious pancakes and chose the blueberry syrup. We got there just as they opened so I had no worries about cross-contact, crossed my fingers and prayed to the GF God's! The lady was so sweet, I wish I caught her name!

I have eaten here four times and have not been glutened. They offer a selection of GF sides (pure fried Eggs, Bacon, sausage Links etc ) and a stack (of 4 or 2) GF pancakes.
Waitress was knowledgable on which Pancake toppings were gluten friendly - I stuck with old fashioned syrup.
This is a good branch of ihop - more confident here than other local Branches.
