Everything is now clearly labeled, reasonable prices, many gluten free options, and almond cake is delicious!
They now have gluten and dairy free veggie meatballs with vegetable gravy and sautéed veggies as a side.
Their salad bar and occasional soups are gluten free. They also offer additional gf salad options from time to time. BUT bring your own dressing. Note: They have a binder in their office they can pull out to show allergen info for any other entrée, however don't hold your breath you'll find anything other than soup or salad. I had 3 different employees give me conflicting info on their salmon platter (salmon, veggies and potato medallions). I trusted the final employee who told me it was gluten free (it wasn't listed in the binder). I had a really bad reaction that night and the day after that couldn't have been anything else I'd eaten (prepared all other meals myself that day and the day before). Summary: look at the binder or the of list they have on their website with nutritional info of the common menu items.

They mark some GF items in the cafeteria but there aren’t many. Veggie meatballs, almond cake, salmon , sides like veggies. There’s enough to eat. Ok but not great tasting, maybe others like it more, the cake is good. Appreciate the availability. The hotdogs (without a bun) are GF in the smaller cafe area.

Only the veggie meatballs are gluten free. It honestly felt like I was eating super healthy. There is only one dessert that is gluten free. Overall, not terrible.

I spoke to the chef there about any gluten free options available and she told me that only their Swedish dish cake DAIM was gluten free. I asked her about the care they take to prevent any cross contamination and was told they make ur separately, change gloves, etc and that it should be safe for a celiac. But it wasn't. It's a small piece of cake but I still got an upset stomach and ache.

Love stopping by the Ikea restaurant for a quick bite while shopping. Their fries are fried in a dedicated fryer, most of the sides are GF, salmon is GF, and they just added a gf almond chocolate cake dessert which is delicious!!
