The staff take extra precaution and the cashier marks allergy on the receipt. I get the protein style burger. There hamburger buns isn’t gluten free. The fries, shakes and burgers r delicious and fresh!
Yes
Handle allergy items separately and have never had an issue with cross contamination. My only complaint is they will put GF burgers on the same tray as gluten items. We order separately to avoid this.

Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Protein style burger is Gluten free (A burger wrapped in lettuce). Make sure to mention you have Celiac when you order. I don’t recommend getting onions on your burger because they are grilled on the same grill as all the burger supplies. They have separate equipment for making gluten free food and they will put on clean gloves and make sure no cross contamination will be in your food
Yes
I have learned to be careful with the grilled onions when ordering my protein style burger. We had to verify that the cashier marked the order appropriately. He had forgotten, and had to go back to tell the cook staff. Otherwise, it was a successful dining out experience.
Yummy and they knew exactly what to do!

My kids all have Celiac disease, and we eat there a lot. They flag the ticket with a "gluten allergy" and the person preparing the food changes gloves. You can get your burgers "protein style" which is wrapped in lettuce, but my kids don't like lettuce, lol. So I just ask for the meat patty, and then we bring our own gf buns. The fries are the only thing cooked in the dryer, and their shakes are gf too!

I’m not sure how because I normally trust these guys 100% for no gluten exposure, but immediately after eating my protein style burger and fries I had awful flare up symptoms. I hadn’t had anything else that was possible of giving me gluten exposure so I have to blame it on the restaurant. Not sure how it happened but I won’t be returning as my joints are on fire.
** just by the way I just searched to see if there were any similar reviews on Google and there is one by a fellow gluten hater (lol) and she was sick after as well. So, seems they are not good at cross contamination. Be aware!

Staff is aware of any cross contamination and will let staff members in kitchen know. They do not have gluten free buns but ask for protein style which is wrapped in lettuce. French fries are gluten free because that’s the only thing they fry in their deep fryer. I’m not sure how their shakes are made, I would call corporate to verify the exact ingredients before consuming. Also if you have multiple orders they will bag yours in a different bag for no cross contamination. Im so excited to have found a fast food place with delicious fries! I mean who doesn’t love In n out?!
