This is my go to place for a late night GF food. Are usually get a cheeseburger protein style. When ever I say “gluten-free” they always make sure to ask if it’s an allergy or preference. It is always a risk eating at a fast food place But, I haven’t been glutened this location.

In-N-Out has allergy friendly fryers, as a celiac I had a great experience there. Ordering there you can get fries and their milkshakes are also gf. They say they’re ketchup is gluten free but it contains some risky ingredients. All In-N-Out locations should have an allergy friendly fryer but please keep in mind that mostly teenagers are hired who don’t know a lot about celiac and gluten intolerances, therefore it isn’t guaranteed that there won’t be a bit of cross contamination.

Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
🌾🚫 Gluten Free Items: Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) cheeseburgers and double doubles. Fries and shakes are also gluten free!
✴ Prior to ordering, let them know you have a gluten free order. I usually tell them
“gluten allergy” and they put an allergy alert on the order as well as a verbal notification to the back. If you don’t mention “allergy” you’re subject to cross contamination.
They will cook the patty on a new and/or cleaned surface to avoid cross contamination. When any gluten free or other allergy order is made, they will note it on your order and also verbally tell the kitchen.
🐶 In-N-Out locations have outdoor seating that are dog friendly. Unsalted and plain “Pup Patties” are available for $1.05 each!

I’m so happy that I’ve been able to safely eat at 2 In & Outs since being diagnosed. They clearly noted gluten allergy on the receipt and my food-was on a separate tray. I’ve gotten the same thing for years- hamburger, protein style, mustard grilled, grilled onions, no spread, extra veggies - and a fries. I tried doing a double double before and it’s too messy- if I’m that hungry I order 2! I wasn’t sure about the ketchup so I just asked for mustard packets for my fries.

spoke with manager who assured me they follow precautions, including glove change, separate prep, different spatulas etc but still got glutened.
unfortunately it’s probably impossible to safely eat at in n out consistently despite their attempts at managing CC

Found In-and-out during our trip through California and Nevada. As their protein-style burgers and fries are a no-brainer for gf meals, we went there more than once.
