Please don’t go, you will get glutened! So we all know that in-n-out has all the ingredients to be gluten free except the burger buns. I decided to go inside to place my order and let them know that I had a “gluten allergy” (no one understands celiac). When waiting for my order I saw the cooks placing the burger buns in the same place where they should only cook the burger patties. They have a place where they should heat the burger buns but they were utilizing both the bun area and patty area therefore contaminating the patties.
I’m extremely disappointed and would like to save you from getting sick. I thankfully didn’t do drive thru and saw this in time !

I am very sensitive to cross contact and I eat here weekly without issue. I trust them FULLY which is so comforting. You don’t even have to walk them through all of the precautions, which is my absolute favorite. You just tell them that you have a “gluten allergy” and the team knows exactly what to do. So thankful for In & Out!! I feel like a normal person when I go here!!!

Went just this week and had a double-double protein style with fries. Did not get sick.
Yes
Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
Great experience, very knowledgeable staff. Our Nima sensor did not detect any gluten on our Flying Dutchman. Fries are also GF (dedicated fryer)
Yes
I always get a protein style burger and fries. Delicious! My favorite burger place!
Yes
I love their burgers and they are fantastic about changing gloves if you ask. I'm not crazy about their fries. I don't know what it is. But for a quick gf meal with no worries, this is your best bet downtown.
I LOVE eating here! Just inform the person taking your order that you have a gluten allergy & you can see it pop up on the screen. I order my burger “protein style” (lettuce wrap). They will change their gloves & take precautions to keep you safe. The fries and animal style fries are gluten free as well! I have also had their milkshakes with no problems. I have eaten here 100 times & have never been sick. 10/10 would recommend!

My celiac son loves In n Out. We have eaten at numerous In and Out establishments during our travels and have always had very receptive and knowledgable employees when we say our order has a wheat allergy/celiac. However, we stopped at the Sta Maria In n Out today and I told the cashier we needed to have the wheat allergy protocol followed. When I got my receipt I noticed the wheat allergy was NOT noted. When my order arrived, I asked to clarify that it was made on a seperate grill. At that time thw cashier apologized and the manager told me he cooked them himself but that there were also buns on the grill. He said it was not possible to grill them on a designated grill. I was disappointed that this wasnt disclosed to me prior to putting my order through, as I ended up with meat patties my child couldn't eat.

They are very knowledgeable about gf and will even put your protein style order in a separate bag if you're ordering burgers with buns. French fried ARE gf and no, they are not cross contaminated as they are the only things fried in the fryers.

Yummy burgers and fries and shakes. Be careful because there is another in n out location in Vegas with bad reviews. This location takes things seriously. Separate grill. Person doing fries just does fries and nothing else is fried there. Let them know gluten allergy. Update here again in 2021 and still fantastic.
