We planned this treat in conjunction with a theatre visit to the Lion King (literally across the road). It was a total treat (and blowout) and amazing for us to visit somewhere as a family where e eryone could eat everything. Totally gluten and dairy free menu and the food was extra-ordinary. My 16yo coeliac and lactose intolerant daughter absolutely loved it. In fact she was paralysed by choice when it came to dessert. The waiting staff were lovely and helpful. All in all a totally special meal out (albeit an eye-wateringly expensive one). We would absolutely recommend.

Booked this restaurant because of how close it was to my show and the amazing reviews, and it did not disappoint! Really enjoyed the pre-theatre menu and it came with impeccable service by the staff. I always feel somewhat worried when booking a dedicated GF restaurant that my gluten eating partner will not enjoy it as much as me, but this was not the case at Indigo! We were both blown away by the food, which definitely adds to the experience of it all.

Amazing menu and experience. My wife is GF and DF and the entire dinner menu is exactly that - gluten and dairy free. But perhaps equally if not more important, delicious. An outstanding experience that we strongly recommend. In addition, the desserts! Multiple GF and DF options. We shared three different desserts (although my wife refused to share the brownie because it was so amazing). And warm bread to start. My wife was so delighted.

Indigo is everything I hoped for. It’s the 1st time my husband and I could share plates since my Celiac diagnosis. The food was so good, the waitstaff were gracious and the setting was beautiful!

Beautiful venue, very attentive staff and the food is amazing. It isn’t cheap but it really is a fine dining experience - an absolute joy. The menu in Indigo is 100% gf and dairy free. The Lobby Bar offers gluten free but is not 100% gf.

Not only is It 100% GF and DF but It is also one of the best tasting dinners I’ve ever had. My gluten eating partner agreed. I got the scallops to start and we split the steak and fish & chips. Homemade bread (they gave me the recipe!) great service, all around FANTASTIC fine dining experience. Must go in London. Just be aware it’s not cheap, but 100% worth It.

I wanted a restaurant which offered a completely gluten free menu so my daughter who has coeliac disease could choose anything from it. Indigo at One Aldwych offered this and more. Great service, quality, locally sourced British ingredients, sustainable. Lovely food and desserts, excellent choice of wines and such a great location especially if you are visiting the theatre/Covent Garden area. The menu is also dairy free. Highly recommend wether you are needing a gluten and dairy free menu or not as you would never know.

Everything here is (secretly) gluten free and dairy free. We went for an afternoon tea, and it was delicious. Some of the sandwiches were perhaps too fancy for my taste (the salmon one), but there was such a sweets of sweets, which never happens It’s definitely expensive, but it’s nice to have a really nice option for afternoon tea that is celiac safe!

What an amazing experience! The prices are, as other reviews suggest, quite high (they even charged £6 for the water they brought to the table), but it was worth every penny. Having a dairy allergy in addition to celiac, eating out usually involves so many questions and a highly limited menu even from the dedicated GF places. With this being both dairy and gluten free, it was the first time I could order anything I wanted. If I’m ever back in London again, I will make sure to visit again.

Wow!! Dedicated gluten free and a fantastic dining experience. Everything from the service to the food was impeccable. I loved not having to worry and being able to order like a normal person without reading the fine print. They even gave us a complimentary little cake when they heard we were on our honeymoon. I went with my wife and daughter for breakfast. They had an amazing gluten free selection, but it’s not a dedicated gluten free facility. I had the full English breakfast. Indigo is a dedicated gluten free restaurant masquerading as just a regular fine dining restaurant... and that's a compliment. It is amazing that you could bring your gluten-eating friends to Indigo and they would never know that the entire menu is gluten-free. We need more restaurants like this in the world. It is so welcoming. From the wam GF rolls with bacon butter that comes to the table to the beautifully-plated mains to the desserts... everything is amazing and everything is gluten-free. By far the best gf restaurant in London (and I have been to all). The menu changes with the seasons and the freshness of the ingredients. Their bread is delicious. The setting is gorgeous. My non gluten free friends enjoy eating here - the food is that good.

Very well cooked food. Great service. Great wine and cocktails :) The entire menu is gf so (if you’re coeliac) you get a great experience. Only downside is the limited veggie options, however there is a completely vegan tasting menu which is well worth it (even if you’re only veggie as my friend was)
