Hidden spot with a cool island vibe. There’s a “sweet truck” with açaí bowls and juices and a “savory truck” with rice bowls and tacos. Had island tacos with grilled mahi. They did explain it’s all prepared on one flat top but they clean it well.

Came to eat here based on it being rated so highly, but be aware that this establishment is a food truck that serves gluten based food. The staff was very friendly but told me that the grill and the prep space is shared. Cross-contamination is likely. I ended up not ordering. I haven’t seen any other reviews mention this. My low rating isn’t a reflection of the quality of the establishment but as a warning to others with Celiac! I do appreciate the efforts to mark on their menu what items contain gluten but I wouldn’t say this place is safe for those with celiac.

This place is really cool! It's food trucks and a market with a permanent eating area in the middle with shade and fans. We went there for dinner and got the Caribbean food. Dinner is only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons. I ordered the jerk shrimp skewers with coconut rice and black beans. It came with jerk aioli sauce on the side. The guy was able to tell me exactly what was gluten free on the menu, the food was full of flavor, there were cute roaming chickens to feed, and no reactions! We are absolutely going back. *Side note, the guy said that lunch has many more GF options

OMG! the food here was out of this world. I thought it was a food truck based on website - turns out it’s a huge outdoor patio with plenty of shade. Awesome island - tiki - jungle vibe. Many gf options and a ton for vegans too! My wife has a gf / vegan bowl and she said it was the best thing she’s eaten in months. Menu is marked. Specials were so interesting.

Delicious food! The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and about which ingredients are gluten free. I had a bowl with cilantro noodles and chicken (Caribbean style with no potato sticks) and felt great after eating here!

Our favorite eats in Marathon! I had the reef and beef with prime rib and shrimp. My wife had the chimichurri chicken. We both absolutely loved the food and the sides (most of which are GF). Menu was not labeled, but staff was very knowledgeable. Was told (unfortunately) that the bbq sauce contained gluten - so no mango bbq ribs. Still amazing and got very generous portions!

Delicious !!! My daughter has celiac and I eat gluten free with her. We had Havana bowls with cilantro noodles. I had Kailua chicken with mine and she had the mango Barbeque ribs. Large portions and such an awesome assortment of veggies etc in the bowl. Other family members loved their meals too. There is a wheat icon next to any item that contains gluten on the menu. Most of the menu is gluten free. When you order online there is a place to write in any notes about the order. I also called after placing the online order to be sure they got the note about cross contamination. Thank you to this app for recommending this establishment!

Amazing food! This has been our favorite meal in the Keys! Love the atmosphere and food. They know so much about allergens. I love that on the menu it lists foods that do have gluten since most of their menu is gluten free. I am very sensitive to cross contamination and didn’t have any reactions. I highly recommend eating here!

Most of the menu was gluten free and there is a symbol to mark what has gluten. The lady who took the order didn’t seem super confident or knowledgeable but I trust the menu. The food was amazing!!! If you order a bowl, they give you a sauce that is not gluten free, but all their other sauces are gf. Highly recommend

Went twice during our stay at Hawks Kay. Everything was great husband is dairy free and could also have almost everything. There was a little discrepancy as one day I was given a sauce that I ate and it looked soy based. My mom and I both celiac did not get sick. The next day we were given (what appeared to be) the same sauce but were told that it was not gluten free. We asked them to remove it from the bag but it seemed there was unclear communication about what sauces were gluten free. I would ask specifically about not just the food but whatever sauce they give you.

I had the coconut rice bowl with the smoked pork and mango salsa blend & sweet chili sauce. I am dairy free as well & it is hard to find meals that accommodate my restrictions. This was my favorite meal while we were visiting the keys! My husband who can eat anything loved it too. We will definitely be back!!

Adorable hidden gem - stationary food truck with lots of gluten free options! Hawaiian/Asian Fusion food. Appetizers, bowls, tacos available gluten free (tacos made with corn tortillas, but they also have flour tortillas so verify when visiting). Ordered tropical style bowl with cilantro noodles (gf) and Kailua pork, the portion was huge. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have bottled bubble tea as well, which I deemed safe to drink.

Tacos, wraps, bowls. Pick your base, protein and 'style'. Very knowledgeable on ingredients. Possibly the only thing with gluten is the flour tortillas, although there may be other things. Celiac 7yo. Felt comfortable/safe. Mahi, shredded pork, jerk shrimp, rare tuna all looked/sounded safe. All outdoor seating in fun tropical garden setting. Fruit/veg stall also part of property.

Majority of the menu was gluten free, and staff knew which options were not. Food was excellent, interesting and fun! Whole family loved it. Smaller setting with outdoor dining. Plans to go back this trip!
