Review of Irish Times Pub

I made a reservation tonight and specified that one of us is a celiac. He ordered fish and chips from the celiac menu after asking about gluten free beer which was not available. At the end of dinner he mentioned to the waiter how much he enjoyed the meal considering it was gluten free and the waiter told him that it wasn’t gluten free! What a shock for my friend. He now is waiting and worrying about the results of having eaten gluten. You were mentioned on a web site as one of Victoria’s top celiac friendly restaurants, this is a serious mistake. I will be contacting that site. Please educate your staff about people’s dietary needs.
