WOW! This place is amazing! They can make any sandwich gluten free using an absolutely delicious wrap. I had the chicken salad wrap and it was delicious! They take special precautions to prevent cross-contamination. I wish we had an Isaac's closer to home in Texas!
GF flatbread is AMAZING!! I loved it so much that I bought some to take home. The menu is very basic, simply a build your own sandwich menu. No soups or salads are listed....but I came for the sandwiches so I didn’t ask. The chicken salad was delicious! Plus they have gf Rice Krispie treats! The waitress we had wasn’t particularly knowledgeable but was happy to ask for answers to my questions. They do prepare everything separately and I can say I ate here twice and did not get sick. Yum....next time I’m in the area I’m coming right back. And so will my non gluten free family members who also very much enjoyed their meals.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave me a special laminated sheet listing all of the gluten free offerings on the menu. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a grilled gluten-free flatbread. The food was tasty and fresh. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in this area again!
This location is terrible about cross contamination and is not at all knowledgeable at all about what’s okay. I’ve never eaten here or had a catered event from here and not been sick. Go to Lititz Pike Isaacs on Trolly run. 5 stars and good options there!
Good selection, staff are knowledgeable. You can now purchase their gf flatbread to take home. EDIT: They replaced their GF flatbread with one that tastes like stale communion wafers, otherwise they are good.
Great sandwiches. They are willing to clean the grill, the utensils and their gloves to cook a hot gf sandwich. The bread was fresh. The manger cooked it himself. definitely would go back!!!!!!! Good food nice people!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have always loved this place. went there for 20 plus years before being diaged with Celiac. Been a few years since I was there. These guys are awesome ! They were knowledgeable, courteous, did all the right things. i'm writing this the next day and I had no reactions at all. Very, Very excited that I can go back to my favorite place again. Not really sure why I waited so long. Their GF flat bread is off the hook !
Beth was our server and she was both knowledgeable and attentive. My wife and are both gluten-free and there were several choices including AWESOME bread and GF vegetable soup. For those who have celiac it's a great choice.
The new gluten free buns are disgusting. Supposedly they can no longer get the gf flatbread. There are much better gf products available. I won't be returning to any Isaac's for a gf meal until this is corrected. However, the care for allergens is great. The contents of the sandwich was great.
Phenomenal!!! I had the Hoopoe on the handcrafted gluten free flat bread...terrific. Who knew tuna and bacon tasted great together. My 12 year old daughter had a cheese pizza on gluten free flat bread. She enjoyed it very much. She also had the chocolate torte which said was delicious. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable of the GF diet. Restaurant was very well kept. Definitely stop in when in the Lancaster County area.
I've eaten here two times and both times I've had the gluten free flat bread I ended up throwing it up. I thought maybe the first time was a coincidence since the reaction wasn't as long and bad as it normally is when I consume gluten. However, after this happening for the second time, I will never again eat the gf flatbread here.
South York store on Pauline Dr has amazing staff who are very attentive and aware of issues with cross contamination. They have GF wraps and many safe choices. The manager at this store is particularly outstanding.
I've eaten at this specific Isaac's numerous times and never once had a reaction. The gluten free flat bread is decent and their sandwiches themselves are great. Incredible staff who are always sweet, knowledgable, and understanding of the need for the food to be prepared specifically gluten free.
Good, not amazing. The flatbread fell apart and it's pretty pricy. Nice to have the options but they need to make some improvements. Even just using Udi's would have been better imo. And my mayo cup had a goober in it. Doesn't leave me incredibly confident that there's no cross contamination.
The gluten free flatbread is good here, but be very careful to look at it before you dig in. Today was the second time that I have been served moldy gf flatbread here. The first time , I understood. Gluten free bread isn't as shelf stable as regular. But twice? I won't be back.
Gluten free perfection The gluten free flatbread is AMAZING. I had chicken salad with Swiss. Perhaps the most delicious sandwich I've had in years. They heat it on foil so no cross contamination. The broccoli salad is fantastic too. Service is incredibly attentive.
Will never go there again.. I was lied to an told that they had gluten free chicken strips and it made me extremely sick .. Also lied to about the bun 3 different times I called to see if they have buns before I
Wish they would open shops in Baltimore area! Great sandwich on gluten free flatbread, served with potato chips. On arrival the waitress brought a small bowl of yummy pickled vegetables to munch on while our food was prepared. We will be back!
This restaurant was a treat. I could eat regular food made by someone knowledgeable about gluten free. We ate there often while on vacation. My husband and I could eat from the same menu. They were very careful in preparing (I'm very sensitive to cross contamination) Be sure to tell server you have Celiac's and as with everywhere else, it never hurts to remind them when the food comes. Can't wait to go back.
Eaten here at least a dozen times at this location (and others)! Very good sandwiches! They have and also sell some nice gf wraps. Everything I've ever ordered, even the chicken salad, is delicious. Celiac safe, and good service too. Many, many different selections plus soup. Enjoy!
Not safe for Celiacs. I was served what I thought to be a Gluten Free bread with my meal, but have been severely sick ever since. The hostess was nice, but our server just wanted us gone. Plus the food is not very good. We got the mac and cheese for the kids and it was barely cooked and looked like it had been sitting for a few hours. The chicken was very chewy. I guess try a different location if you want to try Isaacs.
The entire chain adheres to a celiac-friendly food handling method. I heard one of their execs speak at a gf group meeting and they take all precautions necessary. I eat at several Isaac's locations regularly and have never been sick. The food is great, too! I highly recommend these restaurants.
