Review of Island Creamery Ice Cream

The ice cream is delicious and clearly labeled if it contains gluten, however the staff was less than helpful when I informed them I had celiac d disease and asked about cross contamination. I asked which toppings were gluten free and the server simply said she didn't know and shrugged her shoulders. She used a contaminated ice cream scoop and refused to check ingredient lists. Unfortunately I had to speak to a manager to resolve it. I did eventually get an ice cream that was safe for me to eat, but it took several attempts and repeated explanations to get there. If you choose to eat here, stick to a plain scoop of ice cream, no toppings.
