Most items in the menu are gluten free. I have other allergies and they were able to serve me a delicious meal with a slight modification. They’re homemade gluten free bread still make me smile of joy! The service was impeccable!

Got the chefs special - chicken with yukon potatoes, onions and chimichurri. Brought out gf bread to start and ended with a flourless chocolate cake to celebrate my birthday! Everything was tasty and they were responsive and understanding about my allergy. Beautiful restaurant and harbor view, make sure to make a reservation.

I ate the 8oz filet mignon topped with mushrooms and a side of grilled asparagus and the trio sorbet for dessert. It was delicious, and they even brought out a separate plate of gluten free bread before the meal.

Usually, they are very good at keeping foods gluten free. However, a couple of weeks ago, they failed to alert me that the cocktail sauce for the shrimp was no longer gluten free due to a supply chain issue that caused them to change the brand of worstershire sauce. The new brand had gluten and it didn’t occur to them to tell patrons that a dish marked as gluten free was no longer safe.

Amazing restaurant! Waiter was very informed about celiac and exactly what was safe for my daughter. They have gluten free bread as well and so many gluten free options. Everyone’s food was delicious and it was probably the best meal my daughter had in San Diego.

The server was very knowledgeable between gluten friendly and Celiac. He took good care of me to make sure my dining experience did not lead to cross contamination. Later that night and the next day I could tell that I didn’t get exposed.

Amazing food! They brought out GF bread and items on the menu are labeled. The staff reassured me that the GF items are made separate. No reaction for me!

Salad and entree were quite good. No reaction for this celiac which is why I am rating as high as I am. They brought out gluten free bread after bringing regular bread for dining companions, but the plain dry toast didn't compare to the sight of the fancy, tender looking bread. Service was extremely slow, to the point we wondered if a waiter had been assigned to our table.
Went to C Level, it is open during the day and more casual. Great customer service, extremely knowledgeable about Celiac and gluten free. The fish tacos were so amazing! I ordered a drink and the server wasn't confident I could have it. The manager came by and wasn't sure if it was GF so he suggested another drink, which was the pineapple mojito. It was delicious! With our appetizer they brought be cucumbers and my husband the taro chips on a separate place (no dedicated fryer). Incredible view of downtown and Coronado and of the sea. Definitely worth it!

Go straight to island Prime's gluten-free menu for special occasion worthy seafood in San Diego. Mahi-Mahi is crusted in macadamia nuts, tuna steaks are served with crab, avocado and caviar salad and delicious cold-water lobster tail can be paired with creamed corn or mashed potatoes.
We have eaten here many times. I only had one issue when one time they brought me tarro chips with the ahi stack appetizer - luckily I questioned it and they took it back and remade the plate with cucumber slices. All of our other visits have been great and the food is delicious. You can see my review and photos on www.ungluten.blogspot.com

Some of the best food I've ever had, anywhere. Did the 5 course sampler with wine pairing. The chef was able to make substitutions/alterations. Service was impeccable. This meal was memorable. Pricey, but very highly recommended.
Absolutely some of the best customer service I've experienced in quite a long time. The food was incredible, very large selection of gluten free options on their dedicated gluten free menu. They also have gluten free bread, although it did take a bit for it come out because it is freshly baked. My waiter was very knowledgable on gluten free options, and was very willing to ask the chef if we had any questions he wasn't totally sure of the answer to. Absolutely recommend Island Prime.
