Review of Island Taco

Before ordering, I asked the woman at the counter how the tacos were made, if the flour and corn tortillas ever touched. She said they did and asked if I was celiac. She went to the back where the kitchen was and told the chef that this order was for a celiac and he took care of the rest! The tacos were good. They were kind of expensive for the size, but the most important thing is that I didn’t get sick. I would recommend going at off-times so it’s not too busy and they can go slower and really pay attention to your order. It seems like the other reviews talk about misinformation and the staff not knowing about cross-contamination but it seemed as if they had learned and are really trying to do things safely.
