I called ahead to confirm prep procedures and the manager assured me they had good protocols. when I got there I asked for a gf menu, not too many choices but I went about my way asking questions like normal especially because my server didn't know what gluten was. NO dedicated fryer so the fries and the chips were out. which meant half the gf menu wasn't actually gf. I ended up getting a lettuce wrap patty with tomato and guacamole. I did not have a reaction. But it might have just been luck and the fact that it was slow. But it was very sad to see that they didn't seem to know much about cc. mixed drinks are fantastic tho, good price.
I ordered a salad with grilled chicken (marked GF). When it arrived, the chicken looked different than “safe” grilled chicken usually does. Often, restaurants will dust the chicken or pan with flour to get additional browning & crispiness on grilled chicken. I triple-checked with our server & was told that it was gluten free, including that the celiac note I’d requested. I was wary but had a few bites of the after they repeatedly reassured me. Unfortunately, I definitely was glutened :(
Server confirmed they have separate fryers for their French fries and are not cooked in the same oil as the onion rings, fish, and breaded chicken. Beef patties are cooked on their own grill top. We requested a GF bun. However, they mentioned buns are cooked on the same grill top. We opted to get the GF bun off the grill due to celiac.
Their French fries are made in a dedicated gf fryer!! It’s the little things.
Decent burgers, can choose a gf bun or wrap in lettuce. And fries!
I want to try the tacos some time. Will still get fries.
Their gf alcoholic drink selection is a bit wanting. Wine or hard mixed drinks - no seltzers or ciders. But they have gf fries, and that goes a long way.
Did I mention that they have safe fries? They have fries!
