This was a favorite of mine before I got a celiac diagnosis. While there are some dishes that cannot be made safe, there is plenty to enjoy. The menu itself is marked with which options can be made gluten-free. The manager was knowledgeable, and came over and discussed what could and could not be made gluten-free. And she also helped identify which dishes could be made for a gluten intolerant (eg Agedashi tofu), but not for a celiac. I think her understanding of that difference says a lot about the place.

Iyasare is great because they are very diligent about gf safety and every gf item is clearly marked on the menu. Lots of options for gf, about 3/4 of the menu is gf.
